Cathe vids I've never seen before........

Hello Everyone!

I was browsing and came across a web site called Rotten Tomatoes. There are workouts from Cathe, but there are also 4 that I've never seen before. Here is the link.

Will someone please tell me if they know anything about these videos?

How strange! That looks like nothing Cathe would come out with. I wonder if someone "pirated" a workout and made a cover for it?

These are workouts Cathe made in the early 90's (like 1992 and 1993)- I know because I have them!

It says on the Fit and Firm that it was released in 2000, but I don't think that girl on the cover looks quite like Cathe. Wasn't her hair longer? It does seem sort of weird...didn't see the others.

Who the heck is "Front Row Entertainment"????? Circuit Max, Cardio Kicks and the CTX series were released in 2000 by SNM. I just looked. Maybe we should post this on the Ask Cathe forum so she can answer? The girl on the cover of Fit and Firm doesn't really look like Cathe, and it's released with another company. Are we sure this is "real"? The other ones look real enough. Wonder why this one is not on her website here?

These were good workouts for the time but nothing like what she does now. The quality is not very good and they did a lot of whooping! At the time though I thought they were good and still loved them. That is Cathe on the cover but these were not made in 2000. When I've seen these videos on half.com they always say 2000 and I don't know why, but they weren't!

Edited to add: She probably doesn't sell them because they aren't at the quality level of what she does now. And by quality I mean the production of the tape, not the workout itself. That's just my opinion though...you would have to ask Cathe! I think after these she started working with Greg Twombly on the production of her tapes.

The girl on the cover of Fit & Firm is Cathe...she told us so when it was brought up a long time ago. I own that one & two others which she doesn't sell anymore. Got them on Ebay.

These are available at http://www.half.com sometimes too. I was there a few days ago and someone's trying to sell three of Cathe's old VHS videos for $49.99 each although they are available here brand new for $19.95. I thought that was a bit kooky.

I've also heard that some of these Out of Print videos are a little more geared towards intermediate exercisers.

So are these videos old ones, that Cathe made when she first started making home workout videos? Why do they have production dates that are so recent? I really want to know about these. I'm afraid to buy them b/c it just doesn't make sense to me. But if there are Cathe tapes out there that I missing out on, I want to get them. I hate whooping & hollering, so I want to know if these are irritating in that way. If anyone finds out somewhere else, or I miss a post telling what they are for sure, please post here.

Yes, there are Cathe tapes out there that they no longer produce. Here is a link from SNM to verify this:

I have the "Fit and Firm" and it says on the tape that it was made in 1993. Hope this helps to clarify everything. It IS Cathe on the front cover!
