Cathe Rotation Challenge

So, how is everyone doing??? I have completed 3 weeks of the
Tank Top Challenge. I have not lost any more weight though, but that is ok!!! I swear I can see my shoulder caps more. Maybe it is just wishful thinking, but I like it!! Hope everyone is doing ok.

Good morning, Lori! I've completed week 3 & am very excited with the results I'm getting. I increased my bar 2 1/2 pounds on MIS on Saturday morning (had to take an extra rest day this week due to my hectic schedule-so I'm a day behind) & really fried my legs! I had to have my husband hold me up so I could stretch! My whole body was good sore yesterday. It was great! I'm in the same boat as you--no weight loss, but I'm seeing body changes. My stomach isn't sticking out over my pantyhose the way it did 3 weeks ago & yes, I'm seeing something happen in my arms, too! I posed all flexed & naked in front of the mirror today! Had to laugh at myself but I feel that good about the rotation!

I did cardio yesterday so I could jump right into the beginning of the week with PS all upper body tonight. I am working with Francine to learn Rhythmic Step. I'm taking it one interval at a time & repeating it until I've done 45 minutes to an hour of work. I've got the first interval down & am working on the second & this is only the 3rd time I've used it.

Hi Lori! I just finished up my 6th week and just keep going in spite of the intense HEAT here in NY. I must say this is the longest I've ever stayed on a rotation and am still seeing wonderful results. The other night my DH commented on how big and muscular my arms are. He said they were much bigger than his. That was a great compliment. I also ran into my friend, Pat at the pool this past week and she also passed me a compliment. She said that no matter how many laps she does at the pool and gym sessions she'll never look like me!! She's a great friend. This gives me the inspiration to keep plugging away. So doing this rotation definitely has paid off for me. Keep at it and you'll also see great results. Have a great week!! Kathy
 
Just finished my third week and am starting to see and definitely feel some changes. Because I upped my weights I'll have to take an extra day off between upper body sessions--I got very sore Saturday. This is the first time I've ever done a rotation and actually stuck with it. The support and camaraderie here are invaluable.

Week beginning Aug 25

I'm putting my check in here, because I don't see a new check in for this week. Hope you're out there Lori!!!

I really screwed up last week, so Monday I started over. But I didn't do all of the upper body PS stuff & then last night my mother called right in the middle of meaner legs. I HATE DOING LEGS so I talked. I was actually doing pretty well with it--actually doing squats & low ends with my 15 lb bar, increased my weight for leg presses & then the phone rang. Darn. Oh well, there's always next week. I've noticed that my arms are getting bigger. No true definition but a definite fullness & more rounding. If I hold my arms a certain way I can see real definition, but I can't walk around that way. I'm still not seeing weight loss but am seeing a difference in my pantyhose "role"--it's going away. And when I lay down, I can see my ab muscles!!!! WOOHOO!!!

So, where is everyone else?

Dear Getting Fit-
I am HORRIBLE about sticking with a rotation!!!! I was also following BFL eating, and I stayed with it for 4 weeks, and lost 1 lb. Well, I was ticked. Then I read on here a couple of people talking about Body RX, so I decided to give that a try. I love the food plan!!! As many fruits and veggies as you want, I am really satisfied. Mind you, it has only been one week, but I have never felt this happy with a food plan before. Anyway, Dr. Scott says to work each bodypart once per week, and cardio is not necessary. So, I have been following his rotation schedule, with the addition of Power Hour(I am hitting each body part twice), and a little cardio. I want to follow thru with his ways and see if I can be succeesful and trim down some. I am sorry I "Tanked" out on you!!!! After I finist this, I am going to go vback to the TTR again. I am still cheering you on!!!!

Don't feel horrible! You have to do what works for you. I'm sticking it out. I'm getting great results with this rotation. I read Body RX & loved the food plan but I need discipline in working out. I feel like Cathe pushes me during the workouts. My DH is/was (shoulder injury) using Dr. Scott's workout routine. He was seeing great results until he re-injured his should arm wrestling with our DD's boyfriend (16!). DH was so proud of himself because he almost beat him & then his shoulder started hurting so he had to quit (or so he says lol). So, he's taking a break & will go back to it when he feels better. The book gave some great advice. I liked that he didn't push his supplements--just mentioned that he came up with metrx & moved on. He really could have pushed it!

So, anyway, good luck. Let us know how you do.

Hi Lori! Sorry to hear that you switched rotations. The TTA rotation does do nice things to your body, reshaping it, etc. I too am curious about Dr. Connelly's book and I'll see if my library has it in tonight. Anyway I switched rotations after being on TTA for 7 weeks. That's about all I could stand!! I started eyeballing Circuit Max, Powerstrike tapes, etc. and said the boredom's setting in so I better quickly change rotations. I'm now on to S&H series and did Rhythmic Step and Powerstrike Millenium 1. I did notice that I'm lifting better and much heavier weights than I was before. I can't believe how much stronger my shoulders had gotten. Also I became stronger with my cardio. Let me know how your doing on BodyRX. Take care, Kathy

I am still using Cathe workouts. I am just doing the bodyparts the way he has listed, and putting the chest section from PS, then the chest section from MIS, so I get a good burn. Then I am doing Circuit Max with Jillybean's leg routine, and CTX UB tape, I also throw in a little cardio. I am mainly following the nutrition segement. I just hope it works, cuz' I sure do like it!!!! I have to find something I can live with, and I hope this is it.
