Cathe-New DVD's good for Postpartum?

Cathlete
I was just wondering if you feel the new workouts would be a good fit for women who are post-partum? Or would simply modifying your other workouts suffice? (Not that I'm post-partum, but I'm thinking about the future!)

Just wondering,

I am not Cathe, but I have experience with exercising during and after pregnancy.

I have been doing all the familiar workouts, including Classic Firm and Cathe during the whole time. I just listened to my body, it told me exactly what to do. When I was tired, I didn't exercise. When I felt good and I had thirty minutes I worked out. I used to do the floor warm-ups/cool-downs with my baby.

And don't push it in the beginning. You'll be tired enough having to care for a little one. The only thing I was doing the day after delivery was taking my newborn on a stroller walk around the block.

Hi Tricia! I think either modifying the older workouts and/or using the newer ones will be fine for post-partum fitness. The advanced high step dvd will be the only where more modifications will be necessary (ie: some of the cardio blasts). Take Care!

How about during pregnancy?

Hi Cathe,

Well, when I asked in February, I was planning ahead...Now, I've found out I'm pregnant with TWINS! So I'm thinking these new workouts would also be good during Pregnancy (once I see my doctor today and get the okay)! I know with twins, my workouts may have to be different from when I had my daughter. I guess I didn't really ask a question there, just looking for reassurance that I can use your workouts during this pregnancy. (I could never go 9 months without your workouts!) I doubt my daughter could either, she gets very excited to "see" you - "It's Thathe, Momma!!"

I'll just check with my ob today and see how it goes!

RE: How about during pregnancy?

In my experience a bit o' Cathe every day is good for whatever ails you. I cannot wait to get these workouts.
