It's just too cute when I read the posts and I see what time it is when you respond. I can just picture you sitting there with that cute little guy wiggling and cooing all the while you try to concentrate and type a resonse with about how much sleep? ZZZZZZZZZZZ I remember those days. Enjoy, as so many others have said, they go sooooo fast. Hey, remember when he was only just under 6 lbs.? See what I mean? You'll catch up on your sleep someday. Just in time to lose sleep waiting for him to come home with the car (tee hee). Don't laugh, it will be here before you realize.

Sally!

You are too funny! You just described MY SON to a T. (And he's 21 and we still lay awake waiting for his car to pull in the drive!)They'll always be our babies!

Motherhood

It's so true, you two! My daughter is almost 17 and I still refer to her as "My Little Baby." I wouldn't take anything for the privilege of motherhood.

Tie flies too quickly, alas! But even when they're 50, they will still be our babies, won't they?

You Are SOOO Right Amy!

Sometimes it scares me when I see how fast the years have gone by. We married our 27 year old daughter last March. During the wedding, her and her husband read "Letters To Our Parents" (letters that they both wrote to us & her new in-laws.) Talk about unbelievable realizing she was grown and ready to start her own new life! I was one blubbering BABY that day! Well, I best sign off here or I'll start my blubbering again! Everyone-ENJOY those little ones!

(Sally, you started this!)

Hi Sally!

You are so right. That is me to a "T". Sitting there typing while all of that cooing is going on. I do the best I can to concentrate but its tough. I look over and see his darling little face, all content, with his eyes drifting off in different directions. Then suddenly his little forehead wrinkles in bewilderment as I call out his name and he tries to focus his eyes in the direction of my voice. TOOOOO CUTE!

Well, right now he is sound asleep(as I type) just getting his rest for another WIDE AWAKE night. As much as I try to stimulate him by day, he just finds a way to sleep through all of it. I will admit though that I have made a little progress with keeping him up by day. This afternoon we sang toddler tunes for hours with his new fisher price tape recorder. He was looking at his mama like she was nuts---I was starting to wonder myself, wink! Well, back to work I go. Thanks for sharing!

Just Wait, Cathe

Just wait until he's a teen, Cathe. Teens are sooo difficult on school days. They want to sleep all the time. Eric's just preparing you for these days

BTW, I love to hear your Eric stories. They bring back fond (and sleepless) memories of my daughter's infancy.
