I was thrilled to see that Cathe is featured in a Wall Street Journal article about FitTV!! I picked up the their "Personal Journal" section and there was Cathe's picture (although small) on the cover, from the Body Blast series. It's a very amusing article about the somewhat feel-good nature of FitTV, and although they don't mention Cathe until near the end, she comes off really well, especially compared to the other featured instructors like Gilad, etc. Here's what it says:
"The most challenging of all the segments is "Cardio Blast" (9 a.m.), whose Cathe Friedrich, a petite-yet-thewy weightlifter, is forever exclaiming "It's getting warm in here!" She's a veritable Gidget-with-abs, wielding dumbbells, aerobic steps and other accessories with a glee that verges on the sadistic. Hers is the one show that's designed to be difficult, so serious exercisers who scoff at Gilad's chivalrous arm-extensions might turn to Cathe instead for some real pain and punishment."
