I don't know how I missed it? I guess I was to busy cleaning out my house and getting ready for Germany:) I don't need to tell you that, since you grew up in the military! You know how stressful a overseas move can be! My DH is trying to push us out of here no later than Sept. 15! That is just around the corner! So much to do and so little time! But, first I do my workouts and than everything else! LOL!! I hope one day I can go to another RT again! Alesia and I really had so much fun! It really was good for me, after what I have been trough! You are so amazing! I am really happy to have had the apportunity to meet you in person! Maybe I am lucky enough to get to go on the next RT! I am really hoping to shed those pounds by then! As long as I do your rotations I should not have any problems! Thanks for everything you do! You really impact a lot of peoples lives! I did enjoy speaking in German to you! Have fun this weekend playing with your kids!

Please say Hi to Nancy!

Viele liebe Gruesse! Tschuess!

Hi Belinda,I feel for you getting ready to move, and overseas.
My husband is in the Army, we currently live in Illinois.
Hawaii may be next maybe or Washington D.C.
I have lived in Germany too.
Good Luck, Take one day at a time.
Rocky;-)

Hi Rocky,

My DH is in the Army for the last 26 1/2 years:) I hope this is going to be our last overseas move! Maybe?? I have been an Armywife for almost 25 years! We move an avage of every 2-3 years. I guess I am used to moving around a lot!:) I just hate unpacking! Trust me I have a lot of stuff!! My energy level is very low, since my mom and her DH passed away recently! The hardest thing for me is, I will move without my kids for the first time! I am very heartbroken! They are both in college! Unfortunaly I don't have to many days where I can take it easy! I am running out of time! We still have my DH and my Farewell celebrations and his Change of Commannd this week. The reel special! LOL! I wish I could skip all that! The good news is the house in Grafenwoehr Germany is waiting for us, Less worries there!

Good luck to you and your new asignment! Punish me and send me to Hawaii! LOL!!! I sure need a vacation!! I never have been that lucky! The Army always send us to Germany, El Paso, Georgia, and Oklahoma!! How long have you been an Armywife?:(

Good luck to you!

Take care!
Belinda

Hi Belinda, I have been an Army Wife for 16 years.
But we have been best friends since 1983.(I met him in Germany) I have been with him the entire way, we just were seperated alot.
And he wanted to do his CO.Command before we were married.
(Married in 1991)
I dislike the moving, I want to see the world, but packing & unpacking is a pain. It seems I spend my life reorganizing. When we went to Turkey which I loved we left our belongings in storage.
If we go to Hawaii, we will do the same.
It makes things so much easier.
We have been in Illinois for two years. Although he works in St.Louis,Missouri
(I am from Indiana) We built a house, my first home, I would hate to leave it. Our first year here my husband spent in New Orleans, he was the one in charge of overseeing the Levees built.
So I lived in an apartment while the house was being built.
If my husband is not going to be promoted we will retire.
I know all the Farewells etc. We moved four years in a row.
I am sorry about your Mom,and Step Father.
I lost my precious Mom last September 22nd.
So glad that I have Cathe to look forward to, she has helped me this past year in ways she doesn't know.Physically & Mentally.
Good luck to you. Take care. God Bless.
Rocky
