LAST EDITED ON Feb-08-02 AT 10:53PM (Est)[p]Me and my big mouth! I purchased your S&H DVD early this month. I started working out about a week back. I love big biceps so I did your 2ceps and 3ceps workout first.
A few minutes later I felt disappointed, like I didn't workout at all. I thought for whatever reason, the workout didn't work for me. So disappointing!
Well, I did go on the treadmill the next day and still didn't feel anything. That evening I decided to try the leg and shoulders workout. THAT I really enjoyed. I felt my heart rate skyrocket in a matter of minutes. I started sweating a lot and actually felt my legs shaking (trembling) like hell. And I felt really happy, that at least I could feel my muscles working.
Following day (day 3) I started feeling my biceps AND legs. I thought a little late in the day to feel my biceps now. But my lower body…I couldn't even sit without letting out a cry. I was sore! Really really sore!
On Wednesday (Feb. 6) I did the chest workout. Again I felt disappointed that it didn't do anything for me. Thursday, my lower body was still sore - thanks to the leg workout but I felt quite fine around my chest and 2ceps/3ceps.
This morning (Friday) I woke up, no problems. Showered and changed ready to drive to work. To my surprise, I realized I couldn't even turn the steering wheel of my car. I was sore and how! I took 15 minutes this morning in the washroom to stretch my upper body and the areas where I was feeling tightness but OH...my …GAWD! I am still MEGA sore! I couldn't even remove my sweater when I returned from work. My biceps feel fine but my chest (from my underarms down to my ribcage area) feels really tight. As if I have been hit with a 100lb bag of something!
From the chest workout, I wasn't even able to do the killer planks! I gave up on them. My chest and arms could also not take push-ups. So I left it, because you did mention they were optional.
Well, this is progress report for week 1. I will post again in maybe 3 weeks to let you know if I am still alive and kicking
BTW, I also noticed that the time flies. Not once did I look at the clock.
Thanks!
Shaan
