Hi Cathe How are you? Congrats and good luck on all your success. You recently gave advice to someone who was seeking your lean look. Your response was go heavy with upper body working each muscle group once a week legs twice a week with moderate weight and cardio four times a week making one of those cardio's a interval one . Do you think you could make a rotation like this perhaps for February? or march or anytime soon ??? Thank you so much Lilly

Please do, I will be a bridesmaid in June and need to tone and strengthen the upper body while toning and slimming the lower body.(stapless dress) I am 37, 38 by June and all the other bridesmaids will be in their early 20's.(ugg!) I want to look the best I can for my brothers wedding. Any help for us ladys who want to get a jump start on getting in shape for the summer would be much appreciated!! Julie

Sounds like a great idea...tank top season is right around the corner!

Thank you Kassia! That was short and simple. I think I was overwhelmed by the unknown and I was definately overthinking it.

Do you happen to know if there is any interval cardio in her Body Blast or CTX series? I have both of those and need to do something like that today.

i believe imaxes will fit more of the interval bill b/c they do a moderate step routine then a blast then cool down period and repeat.

In CTX, Step and Intervals is certainly interval training. I think it's a good place to start, as at just 30 minutes it's shorter than the IMAXs.

Yes! Cathe, could you pleassse make a rotation like that. And, since you will soon be adding a nutrition component to your site, could you include a sample of what you eat?

It would be quite simple really and you can put it together yourself.

Take Cathe's new 4 DS and use all 4 cardios as 4 daily cardios. Add in Imax 2 for your interval cardio for the week. The 4DS already includes all the heavy weight upper body work for the week and one leg routine. Then all you have to do is add in either GS legs or PLB and you are set.

Day 1: 4DS
Day 2: 4DS
Day 3: GS legs
Day 4: 4DS
Day 5: Imax 2
Day 6: 4DS (the one with leg routine)
Day 7: Off

Cathe has already done the thinking for you, you just have to put it together.

Here's another idea---
I used Clare's idea of the 4DS- but I don't like doing step 2 days in a row, so I split those up. I also think GS legs and PLB use heavier weights than L&G or B&G. I think its all what you prefer, but here is another option. I absolutely love the 4DS!!:)

Day 1: 4DS- HIS
Day 2: L&G or B&G
Day 3: 4DS- LIS
Day 4: 4DS- BC
Day 5: IMAX of choice
Day 6: 4DS- KB (legs)
Day 7: Off

I also wonder if you do Low Max instead of L&G or B&G and take 2 days off what kind of results you'd get.....?

Day 1: HIS
Day 2: BC
Day 3: Low Max
Day 4: off
Day 5: LIS
Day 6: KB
Day 7: off

Just a thought...
