Cathe beginner needing help!

Hi Cathe;

Hope your recovery is going well.

I recently discovered you on fittv and now your website. Love both the shows and your website!

I currently workout about 3 times a week...nothing structured. I would like to lose about 15lbs. I am also very top heavy especially around the mid section(surprise, surprise) and mainly looking to tone up my upper body.


As a beg/int, which of your DVDs would you recommend? I currently do not own a step or barbells. I do have dumbells.
I think I have practically spent the whole day reviewing your dvds and postings on the boards..Pls help!

Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thx.
 
Try posting this on the Open Discussion forum. There are so many educated people who are always more than willing to help.

But, I personally would suggest KPC until you are able to get a step. Then, I'd suggest Basic Step/Body Fusion and Low Impact Step. Kick Punch and Crunch is tough, but you can modify and work your way up to finishing the entire workout.

By the way, welcome to the forums and it sounds like you're on your way to becoming a Cathe addict like the rest of us:):)
 
You might like Total Body Sculpt - it is 30 minutes and uses the stability ball and light dubmbells. You can go heavier as you progress. I really like this one.
