I'm just curious never having had a baby myself how hard it is to get back out there. Just the thought of squats and ab work after childbirth gives me the willies. How are you coming along?
Hi K60! I actually just started back to work on Wednesday. I taught my first class Wednesday morning and it felt a little strange at first but yet so fun to have the freedom to jump around. My skin had some itchy sensations in the thigh and abdominal area due to vigorous circulation. It has been six weeks since I worked out and prior to that I was really modifying a lot at the tail end of my pregnancy so it has really been a while since I moved around in this manner.
Strength wise, I'm coming along much better than expected in the ab area. Planks are very tough though. My core area feels the weakest of all parts of my body. Somehow squats do not feel difficult but that could change drastically after todays body pump class in which I will be doing 6 minutes of straight squats ;-).
