Cathe and WW

Hi everybody. Just curious if anyone here (and I'm sure there are LOTS of you) have ever done Cathe and weight watchers together? If so, do you think it is a good combo, and what results have you seen so far? I just joined WW online (for the umpteenth time, but a girl should never stop trying!!) and thought I would do ww and Cathe together to see what sort of results I get.

I have been doing WW's with Cathe for about 5 weeks now, and my weight has been coming off. IMO, WW's is the best thing since sliced bread !!!! ;) It is so easy ! And on WW's you are not hungry. I am eating more fruit and veg now.

I have though cut back on cardio to 3-4 days, with a bodypart per day, or 1 x Powerhour session per week. I also do a lot of walking with my children and the pushchair during the week, too. But everyone is different, I have found for me in the past, I was doing too much exercise and wasn't losing much weight, but now I seem to have found my optimum level. My downfall is TTOTM.

And you can use your extra exercise points, that you gain from your workout sessions :) I don't tend to use them as I workout in the evening though, and after a bath or shower I hit the sack, so I am not up to eat them.

Cathe's workouts are great too, if you have not done them before, take them slowly to begin with to get used to the intense pace. But, I would say with Cathe, after the first few workouts you can start to feel the toning benefits, and clothes start feeling looser.

Hey Kim! I have lost 23 pounds on Weight Watchers. I think that is it a GREAT program. It works for me, but I know each person has to find what works for them. I am new to Cathe, but since I have been doing her Intensity series the last five pounds came off which brought me up to my 23 pound weight loss. I like WW because no food is completely off limits. I've really learned about portion control and what my body needs to keep going. You can also get right back on track if you have a bad moment or meal and believe me the weight came off. One thing I have quit doing is weighing every week, because I began obsessing over a pound or two and I find that my weight flucuates. I go by how my clothes feel and weigh about once a month now that I have met my goal weight. I have really toned up and lost inches since I've started working out with Cathe.

Wow guys!! Thanks for the replies!! I did join WW a few days ago (online) but am actually starting today. I went grocery shopping last night and stocked up on alot of good things!! As far as Cathe workouts go, I have all her workouts with the exception of Rhythmic Step, S&H series and the Intensity Series. Since I am a single mom, I really can't afford the Intensity Series right now, but have been very tempted to order the Bootcamp and Muscle Endurance dvd (do not own any Cathe dvd's yet). I also own alot of Firms and other tapes, but I just get very bored with them and find that Cathe is the one who keeps me motivated. I am thinkin of either doing the CTX rotation, or doing the PS rotation with cardio and an endurance tape (PH OR MIS) rotation. Which do you think is best with WW?

hi .. i am currently on ww online and doing Cathe and i am getting really good results! I want to kick the crap out of my sale sometimes cuz my weight flucuates too! and being a ww you rely totally almost on the scale to measure success! But i have lost a little over 10 since early february and am pleased with that.. but i have lost many many more inches!!! and i have dropped a size so.. yes its a great combo.. I would love to be email buddies to keep us accountable and motivated.. let me know if you would like that.. it would get a great motivator for me .. have a good wknd..

Go to www.yahoogroups.com and type in VFers-in-WW in the search box and sign up for a great e-mail group that are exercise video fanatics and on Weight Watchers.

We do Cathe's, FRIMS, Gin Miller, Pilates, Yoga, you name it and also are or have been in WW. Even the online WW members are members.
