Cathe and Bodypump rotation help for newbie please

Hi everyone, I have got many of Cathe's dvds plus several Bodypumps and am wondering if someone could help me with a rotation please. I am keen to start using Cathe but I am a little scared to try LOL.

I would class myself as a beginner because apart from the occasional Bodypump class or weights workout at the gym and regular walking, I dont do much in the way of exercise. I am also a new mother so I dont have time to do back-to-back workouts to start with. I hope someone can please help.

I forgot to mention that I want to lose about 12kgs and tone up. What Cathe dvds are best for a beginner to be used on days that I dont do Bodypump? If I am doing Pump, can I do one of Cathe's weight training videos the next day or not? Thanks in advance to anyone that can answer my questions.

Hi Candyoz,
It's very difficult to put together a rotation for you if you don't tell us exactly what videos you have, or access/willingness for other forms of exercise.
Also, near the top of this forum is the "Official Cathe Beginner Rotation" that Cathe recently wrote. You could take a look at this and we could maybe advise on what to substitute if you don't have all the videos or want to count your Bodypump classes.

Thanks for replying and for telling me about the rotation for Cathe newbies. It looks great!!! I do have those dvds, so I will go with that to start with....

Cathe dvds/tapes I have are:

Total Cardio Step - Basic Step, Low Impact Step, Body Fusion

Total Muscle Sculpting - Total Body Sculpting, Upper Body Sculpting Lower Body Sculpting

Total Body Stretching - Basic Stretching, Stretching w/Ball #1&2

THe Hardcore Series (minus Low Max and Hardcore Extreme)

High Step Circuit and High Step Training

The Body Blast series (minus Step Blast)

The Intensity Series (minus Terminator, Imax 2 and Boot Camp)

Ab Hits

MIS, Body Max and Power Hour

Slow and Heavy Series

Pure Strength Series

How to Get in Shape for Your Wedding

Fit and Firm

I have no problem with starting with the beginner's rotation but as I do really love BodyPump, what part of the rotation do you suggest I could substitute for a BodyPump tape instead? Also, I have a rower, exericise bike and cross trainer (can I substitute any of the workouts with 30-45 mins on one of these when I am pressed for time?):)
