cardio suggestions

gettingthere

Hi everyone,

I just discovered Cathe about a month ago when I ordered her PS series. I love the quick results! I've decided to order some more and feel like I need to get more cardio videos. I would appreciate suggestions from everyone, keeping in mind that I would need something that would work in a small space. Some of the video clips I looked at on the site have alot of moving completely around the step and I just don't have that kind of room.

Thanks in advance everyone!

I hear ya! I have a partial basement which is carpeted (which makes step aerobics pretty difficult at times) I think the step jam tape is pretty good for small space. Good luck!!

Hi. Most of Cathe's tapes take about the same amount of space give or take a few moves that you can just modify, with the exception of Cardio Kicks, this tape takes the most space of Cathe's tapes. Cardio Kicks can be modified however, in my opinion, it's much more intense doing as is. I was wondering what other kind of cardio tapes have you done or is Cathe your first intro to step, cardio etc?

I have one step tape by Tamilee. I tried it a couple of times, but just couldn't get through it. Too dancey and I wasn't getting a workout because I was too involved in trying to figure out what the steps were, if you know what I mean. I have Cathe's PS series and love her cueing. She's so easy to follow! I thought if I was going to try step again it had to be with her! I also recently ordered FIRM Cardio Burn but it hasn't arrived yet. I do a lot of walking and do 30-40 minutes/4wk on an elliptical trainer.

Cathe's older tapes have the easiest to learn choreography and take up the least space. You cant go wrong with...Step Heat, Step Max, Mega Step Blast or her Wedding video.

Step Jam does have a part in section two where you do a turn off of your step and then do a step/insole on the floor by your back wall. When you get to this part, if you don't have enough room, just come off the side of your step instead of the back and while Cathe and the gang do the insole to the back wall, just walk around your step. It's the same counts as the insole. It's what I do because my space is cramped too. This will all make sense once the video arrives.
And P.S. Step Jam is one of my favorites - I did it this morning. Have fun!
