thanks ladies. do you think that doing CC 3 times per week is to much? Should i be doing it only once per week and then doing other cardios like a SS and a kickbox? opinions?

ITA. Steady State for the most part, but put in interval at least once per week. Cathe's stuff (and Cardio Coach) is da best for it.I mix it up- I definitely think intervals are terrific at fat burning and are very efficient. But I still do steady state sometimes too- I just enjoy it, especially in a good step workout.
Here's an article from Art of Strength's womens' newsletter with some of Rachel Cosgrove's ideas about interval cardio:

Hi kariev,

She had a few articles on Figureathlete.com awhile back that talked about her transformation when she moved from steady state training (for her triathlons) to interval training/metabolic circuits. They're really interesting!

I was all geared up to start her eight-week program, but couldn't since I have to let my knee recover. I've done her Metabolic Circuit workout a few times with my GymBoss timer, and it's truly HARD!
