Cardio Fusion / Circuit Max & Cardio Kicks

Okay, I am on a DVD buying spree but it's what I need to keep motivated right now so I'm allowing myself. I tend to bulk easily (well, okay bulky to me but not to others) on the bottom half and my ABS & upper body respond so quickly I don't have to worry about them too much. So, cardio and lower body are my main focus. I love Kick Max and Kick, Punch, and Crunch I can't get enough of. I'm thinking about ordering Cardio Fusion and Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks - was just looking for some feedback on these from anyone. I consider myself advanced, there are days that I can fly through KPC with a good sweat worked up but never feeling like WOW and then there are days that it's harder when I'm not at my peak-just to give an idea of my level. So... do you think these are good choices for me? I do not like anything too complex and like more athletic style workouts i guess, but I don't consider KPC or Kick Max complex. I have the new Drill max and Butts & Guts but don't have LIC or Body Max 2. Thanks and happy working out! :)

I love Circuit max. It is not complex choreography at all and has a little bit of everything, which I love. It is a kick in the pants and the time goes so fast. I think this is one of cathe's harder workouts and it is not all step which I also like. However, I do not care for cardio kicks. I do not find it challenging enough.

Cardio fusion is an excellent Dvd! It is tough especially the 80 minute premix.

Bodymax 2 is a must! It is probably, in my opionion the best step and circuit style workout that she has made. There are wonderful premixes and it is so much fun. You may find the choreography a little challenging if you are not used to choreography, but definitley worth learning. I hope this helps!

Hi Jen,

You've narrowed your selections down to some good workouts.

Cardio Fusion is my current favorite compilation DVD. I think it is so much fun and the premixes are top notch. If you buy this one, you could wait on buying BM2 but you will probably want it sooner or later. The choreography in Cathe's latest Fab Five is athletic and fairly easy to pick up. Just be aware that the bonus sections that are included in Cardio Fusion seem to move fairly quickly if you haven't learned the step sections from the main w/o. Still, I picked it up without too much of a problem.

Circuit Max/ Cardio Kicks DVD will give you a good workout. Keep in mind that they are space hogs, but if you are okay with space or modifying a little than go for it. Cardio Kicks is more of a kickbox inspired aerobic workout but I still enjoy it. I don't do this DVD much anymore because it is older & it doesn't have the DVD features that the newer ones have. Again, if the DVD options aren't important to you then go for it.

I think that you will enjoy any or all of these selections,
jordan

Thank you so much for your advice, I think i will go ahead and order both and then probably end up getting BM2 later! I have so many workouts but feel like I've hit such a brick lately in the weight area, not that I need to lose weight but when you put so much effort into eating right and working out you expect to keep seeing progress! So, I am up for any advice you have or any other workouts you think would help break my plateau! I started working out daily about 3 years ago and I'm about 5'6" and weigh about 130, but most people guess me much lighter b/c most of it is muscle. But, not real sure on the weight cause I don't own a scale, just go by how I feel. The workouts I use now include Kick Max, KPC & Legs/Glutes, Butts & Guts, Drill Max, High Step Challenge, CTX series, then I also have all the Master Series of Power 90 from Beach Body and Slim Series (not slim in 6), Bun Blaster & Thigh Trimmer from Beach Body, and I also love Cindy Whitmarsh Ultimate Fat Burner for a quick day, and for an easy day I have Tamillee Webb's Tighter Assets set... those are just about half of what I own but are the ones I use in more rotation the most... so as you can tell I am trying to keep my body guessing but lately it seems to have me figured out! Again, thanks for your response and any more advice you have for me!

i have been using my cardio kicks/circuitmax dvd alot. for ck i do the warm up in cm and for cm i do the intervals of high low/kickbox then drills from ck-that is tough!
