Cardio and Weights

OK - so this was my second try at cardio & weights. I did MUCH better this time! Still am having a hard time with the "A-step combo" and the step-knee then triple around the step. I'll have to try those in slower motion to just get the feel. I had taped this off of FitTV, and doing it today, I can see how much likely got cut out of it. It is good for now - being able to catch my breath while I fast forward through commercials, but I can see how I'm going to be wanting to start building my DVD collection. Her workouts are SO fun!!!

Anyhow - just wanted to say that I made it most of the way through C&W and I think one more time through and I should be doing pretty good. It CAN be done!!! Woo HOO!

Good for you Amy! this is a great workout! in fact, i did it myself today. There is a premix on the dvd that is only the step portion and it is really alot of fun. it has great music.

Hey Amy! Nice job:) Cardio & Weights is a waaay fun workout. I workout on carpet and always modify the 'knee up with 2 triples turning' to '2 knees with a hitchkick over'. I like triples turning on a wood floor but find too much resistance and increased knee torque when I do it on carpet.

You are too right!!!! It CAN be done, indeed!!!!:) Enjoy!!

I did this one yesterday...so much fun! You will enjoy the full version so much better!:) Isn't Cathe fabulous?
 
Great Job Amy. I did C&W the other day and it is a fun workout. I also just did circuit max, another cardio & wts w/o and it was fun too. I tend to do either a cardio w/o or a wt w/o, but am trying to incorporate more circuits into my rotations.

Hi s. I did CW for the first time the other day and have a question. I alternate weights days with cardio days---how does this fit in? Should I consider it cardio or weights on my rotation?
