Cardio and weights................

I know I did IMAX2 earlier, but I was sitting here bored because my son is sick and I sent the rest of my family to the family get-together.
So here I sat and thought, "why not do C&W low impact and really light weight?" So that's what I did and boy am I glad I did! It's so much fun!! They way she does the weight section caught me off guard, but I like it. And the pushup-downdog-pushup-side plank is my faovite of the ab work.
I'm loving this new series so much!!! I can't wait to see Boot Camp and ME!!

Question for Aimee...

Hi Aimee - I'm doing Pyramid Upper again tomorrow, but also want to do a cardio workout - would you consider C&W a cardio workout if I do it like you did with lighter weights?

I did Pyramid Lower this morning and loved it. The stability ball work was tough - especially the inner/outer thigh exercises. When I was done, I got up and immediately felt it in the "saddlebag" area. Can't wait to do it again!

Yeah, the only thing I would change for making it more cardio oriented is, after the compound weight moves, instead of going heavier and doing a single exercise, do a little bit of step on your own or make some some intervals instead. I'm going to try that next time I just want it for cardio.
My outter butt is still sore from the stability ball work!!! I'm doing lower body again tomorrow and then upper on fri. That ball is alot harder than I'd thought it'd be!! Great challenge!

What a great idea to substitute cardio for the heavier weight segments! I'm definitely going to do that!
The ball work is fantastic. I found the regular strength work to be pretty standard, but the ball exercises in the pyramid tapes feel really new and different. I'm on an opposite schedule - tomorrow will be upper body and Friday will be lower.
