Car stereo problem--any audiophiles who can suggest what to do?

Every time I play a CD in my car, the second time I put the CD in (one that has never been played in the car), the player reads "bad disc". What should I do? I have never had this problem before. My CD's play just fine in another CD player, the problem is limited to the car stereo. I would appreciate any input. Thank you.

Radio shack sells a cd player head cleaning disc, you might try that.

You know, that makes sense. I didn't realize there was such a thing, knowing zero, I thought that was a tape head thing. I will try that. There is a radio shack very close to me. Thank you!
