Canine Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO)

Our Sophie had this procedure done on 6/26, so it's been about 2.5 weeks post op. Since this is a fairly common procedure, I'm assuming some of you out there have experiences with your pet you could share. Such as, did you do any kind of physical therapy, how long will it be before we see her using her leg, how long were pain meds used? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I guess I should mention that she's a mixed breed, approximately 8-9 years old (adopted so not sure) and about 47 lbs.
