Can you gain weight on CXT?

Hi Everyone,
I am desperate to lose 50 pounds I just had a baby 5 wweks ago and I have been doing the CXT series for 2 weeks.
My question is I have gained 3 pounds since I am eating properly and was losing the weight until I started the CXT.
Is this normal?should I swithch my routine or stick with it until it levels off.

It could be muscle gain and water retention. I notice that when I start using weights again after a long break, I have a temporary weight increase from the "shock" my muscles get (causing them to swell up a little and hold a little bit of water.) But it's only temporary. Weigh yourself again in another week or two, and things should be back to normal.
 
Marisol, weight flucuates by 2-3 pounds daily depending on many factors such as hydration levels and daily food intake. Every morsel we eat has weight and until it's burned and stored it makes you seem heavier. For that reason, it's recommended you weigh yourself in the morning. But throw away that scale! Your baby is 5 weeks old. It took you 9 months to gain that weight; don't expect it to come off too quickly. One pound per week is a safe rate to aim for. How much sleep are you getting? Newborns take alot of energy and make getting sleep tough. Cut yourself some slack! Relax and enjoy that baby. Workout regularly and watch your diet, but don't watch the scale. It'll happen. Just be patient and consistant. As you lay down muscle, your weight may increase slightly but I again stress that watching your weight isn't the way to do this. Get fit and fitter and let it happen naturally.
