Haha! The heat broke here today. It is beautiful today and I even have my windows open. We have been in the 100's. I hope the heat will break for you tomorrow!

I hear ya Deb! It is roasting here in NE PA. x( It's supposed to break sometime today tho and be comfortable for 2 or 3 days. I sure hope so!

My heat rant is over (see my thread), because today, it's in the 80's, and it seems positively cool compared to the 100+ heat index of the last 4 days or so.

Our heat broke this a.m....no rain (like the promised) but the 70's are way better than the 114 heat index we have had the past few days! BRUTAL!!

It has cooled down to 95 degrees here in South Carolina at 5:30. Our heat index was around 105/110. We had another heat advisory today. I'm spoiled b/c I'm a teacher and have not had to be anywhere the last couple of days so I was able to stay safely tucked away in my air conditioned house. All that will change very soon though.

5:40 p.m. here in the Piedmont of North Carolina and it is 97 degrees with a heat index over 100. The high today was 100!!! That "cold" front is pushing down towards us and should see some relief tomorrow with highs "ONLY" in the low 90's. GEEZ!!! My central air is running constantly. I may have to take a second mortgage to pay my power bill next month!!

It's 6:50 pm here and were finally down to 87 here in Michigan, and 98% humidity. I am soo happy tomrrow is my normal day off and I can go hide inside.
