I am a pretty avid cardio (mainly step) exerciser but I dread strength. I know I should incorporate more. I really don't know how much to do or how frequently. Any suggestions? Would this type of workout suffice for upper body?
- Tacking on chest/triceps to a cardio workout (timesaver) one day
- Tacking on biceps/back/shoulders to another cardio workout (timesaver) another day
- Doing a total body workout (approx. 20 min. upper/ 20 min. lower) another day
Alternating inbetween cardio workouts?
Any other suggestions?
