Can I wash these in the my home washer?

Sheepskin and Suede Leather slippers? They are tan on the oustide and wool on the inside & they are so cruddy lookin'. Can I wash these or will that kill them?

DON'T DO IT I had some that I got when we lived in Argentina and they were getting really icky looking and I did just what you are thinking about and totally ruined them;( But I still don't know the best way to clean them. Dry cleaning, maybe??

no. don't wash them. you can get suede cleaner at any shoe store

If they are that cruddy, wash them and see what happens. Maybe they will be o.k. If not, treat yourself to a new pair. Or, get a price at the dry cleaner. Melissa

I have pair from LL Bean. You don't wash them in the washer. You can hand wash them with a suade cleaner....or just get a new pair.

I had some that I got from a kiosk in the local mall. I had them for around 5 years. I would turn them inside out and wash them in cold water then put them out to airdry. Then I would turn them right side to dry some more. The thing that ended them is the seams came out, I know I should have sewed them back together. They were so warm and comfy. Now I miss them!!

Thanks ladies I guess if I try and fail, I am in no worse shape than now so i am going to give it a whirl! It's really the inside of them that is cruddy. Maybe I will try to wash them on delicate insie out and air dry them. Still deciding!
