Can I use S&H and PS or GS together???

This might sound like a silly question but would I be doing any harm if I used S&H and PS or GS during the same workout? I'm 4 months pregnant so I really don't have any goals at the moment except for maintaining the strength that I already have. So do you think that something like this would work:

Mon: S&H shoulders, PS shoulders and GS shoulders
Tues: S&H triceps, PS trices and GS triceps

And so on.

Any thoughts? Modifications?

Sometimes, more isn't always better. You could mix workouts like this, but I suggest picking and choosing from each workout rather than doing all the exercises in each, especially for these smaller muscle groups.

The only "harm" may be that you don't give you all to the workout because you know there's a lot more to come.

I have to agree with kathryn. If you give your all to S&H chest and S&H triceps and S&H biceps and S&H shoulders, you should be so fatigued that you cannot do anymore for that msucle group. To my mind the only body paart that could do with more is back, becasue backs are so strong thay can be hard to fatigue.

I have never tried S&H with either GS or PS after. I usually do 2 or 3 body parts per day with S&H on the same w/o, s I can work each twice per week.

If you really feel you need more, please just pick one, not both PS and GS. Both is way excessive.

Quite frankly, I can't even contemplate being able to do S&H shoulders or chest, giving it my all, and then be able to do GS shoulders or chest and make it a worthwhile thing to do. I'd be so fatigued from the former since I go as heavy as I can with each rep. have you done the GS w/os yet? They are extremely thorough!

Thanks Kathryn & Clare.

Clare, yep I've done the GS workouts. Right now I don't even attempt the push ups b/c I'm afraid I'll fall on my belly. I like S/B/Bi but I don't feel like I get enough of shoulder work. I"m not too fond of the bands though. I feel like I can't get my form down right for band exercises (at least for UB).

Maybe I'll try just S&H this week and see how I feel. :)
