Hi all, my Valentine CTX series has arrived and so far I love it! I have done Step and Intervals and the Kickbox tape, but I have a question: I can not do all the tapes the way they are, simply because it is too much cardio and it will bother my knees...all those years of standing for endless hours at work. Anyway, just doing the one body part and skipping the cardio attached with it does not seem like enough...what did everybody else do with this series?? I have the PS series, Slow and Heavy, PH, MIS, C&W and Bootcamp(although I have not tried that yet......I have read so many countless and wonderful rotations, but I can not seem to find one that is going to work out for my poor knees. Any help would be great!! Take care and thanks!! Donna.

I would get rid of all the HI/LO and lower the step to 4". Can you take it at 4"?? Cutting out ALL the cardio and I would say you don't have a CTX rotation anymore!!!LOL!! I would do the 10 min. weights with some S&H tacked on if it were me. Usually I do the cardio and tack on nothing but S&H..
If your knees can't take it where will you get your cardio??

I find CTX done the way it is set up is too much impact and too much step for me.

What about doing a CTX workout every other day, and doing two of the weight segments with one cardio? On alternate days, you could do a different cardio workout.

For example, you could pair back + chest, shoulders (alone), legs (alone),and triceps + biceps (gives you a four=day program) (you could pair legs + shoulders, and leave out the cardio, but it would be a longer workout)

Or you could go with back/biceps, chest/triceps, legs, shoulders for a different 4-day rotation.

Hey guys! Thanks so much for your suggestions! They are perfect! I just need to see things in black and white, and both of these will work well for me. I really want to up my cardio to lose a little body fat, but my knees were not cooperating. But now I have a plan of action...thanks again! Donna.
