I found P90X to be really good for my shoulder. The ballistic stretches and the good shoulder warm-ups (even those "nasty" shoulder circles) were really helpful (I intend to use them before any workouts where I work the chest/back/shoulders). And some of the shoulder exercises (like "scarecrows") were as well. My problem was I got a bit cocky (can women do that? ;-) ) and, having received some 2# weighted gloves with my Contender's Club DVD's, I used them for Kenpo. A bit too much for my shoulder (though it didn't really bother me till a couple of days later...I think the gloves laid the groundwork for a flare-up of the previously injured spot in my shoulder). Now, I'm trying acupuncture (did the PT thing, and it helped up to a point), which will take a while, but supposedly can help my body heal the injury and get rid of scar tissue. I'm willing to try it.
