Hey ladies! We only have a few weeks left before the RT!!! (insert girly scream and happy dance here) Are you all ready??? I've been on vacation for the past few weeks, so this is really sneaking up on me. I brought a resistance band with me and worked my upper body every few days, but my legs need some serious help especially after all that "vacation" food. Anyways, I heard this thread had kind of fizzled lately, so thought I'd better start it up again! ;) So you all have your orders - CHECK-IN!!!

Liann, may I suggest B&G or GSL to get those legs in shape }( I did GSL last month and start B&G this month. I also do my own leg w/o once a week (working legs twice per week). With all of those walking lunges in the overall leg premix one would have to be RT ready right? Or on the verge of death :7 :7 :7

I just finished GS C&T/BSB premixes. I lifted a little heavier than Cathe on most things, but matched her on others. Can you say upper body quiver????

What's everyone else doing to prep for the RT lately??

Liann, I second the walking lunges in B&G. I always feels those more in my behind than with regular lunges. I love the pictures of your vacation. When I was little my "plan" was to live in Montana (have never been there, though(':)')).

Catherine-I've never done the GS premixes for the upper body. Do they leave out the band work?

Today, I did chest, triceps and shoulders at the gym and then I taught kickboxing. The darn scale hasn't budged in a month and I am up 8lbs from last year('x(') . I've been really working on cutting out the sweet stuff lately as that is definitely my downfall!!

Liann - thanks for reviving this thread.

I was on vacation last week and am in desperate need of some clean eating and hard workouts! I worked out while on vaca, but I certainly didn't eat clean and I am feeling it today!!! So my goal is to eat clean, clean, clean for the next four weeks and keep up with my workouts.

Beth, there is some band work in the premixes. Not as much thank goodness :D I hate band work, but I try to make myself do it LOL.

So Melissa did you go anywhere on vacation?

I am on vacation this week. No plans though. Except I am getting a massage and a facial this afternoon :D

I have not been eating very clean either :( Need to work on that!!

Ah, the walking lunges in B&G are a killer! I did the Leg Blast Premix yesterday, and that one is so intense! I think I need to do a bit more step to get ready for the RT, so today I'm going to add in 4DS LIS before I do PUB.

I need to clean up the eating, too! :)

Liann -- We missed you, and are so glad you're back! It looks like you had a great time! I saw your post that you re-started our thread -- hooray!

Catherine -- How has your back been feeling? Enjoy that facial and massage today! Sigh!

Beth -- Ah, sweets are my downfall, too! That is so cool that you teach kickboxing! Have you been doing that for a long time?

Melissa -- Glad you had a good time on vacation! Where did you go?
 
Leanne, LIS and PUB sounds like a good workout. Looks like most of us need to clean up our eating :+ Summer time is just so hard for that!!!

My back is ok. I still have some chronic issues that I am working on- tight hip flexors amongst other things.

The massage was wonderful. This therapist does great things for my body. She really knows her stuff!
