Morning, girls~ :)

I didn’t get home til 7:30 last night, so I did not work out. This morning will be the HSC 50-min. premix.

Wendy :: thanks for the feedback on C&B…I can’t wait to start w/ the weights next week!!! Time-efficient is SO what I need right now…My cousin really wants to do the bridge, so I told him I would do it, but it’ll be SLOW!!!!!! I figure I’ll treat it like a training run and take walks if I need to. Tough as it is, I do love running over the bridge.

Diana :: is that what time you normally start work?…The 10K would be Nov. 4th…I like the name Riley (or Rylee) *a lot* but am with you on not being too crazy about Rallie. I think it sounds a little too close to Riley and could be confusing. Maybe they’ll consider some additional suggestions. But I understand what you're saying - I'm sure they'll be adorable little munchkins either way!!

Angie :: no, our conferences are in mid-November…Yes, we’re doing dinner and shopping tonight. I want to talk more about all this stuff because from what I’m hearing, they’ve still been hanging out plenty with *his* friends, so it’s a little puzzling…She told me yesterday they are thinking of having a baby together…not getting married, just having a baby…In a way, I feel she is “lost” and I don’t really know her anymore…I have only done the kickbox workout. It’s fun, it’s easy in terms of complexity, it’s short, and yet it works ya. I can’t wait to do it again. I want to stick with my circuit weights to finish my 4-week rotation this week. So, I will probably do the boot camp workout tomorrow and not explore the weights til next week…*lol* about your mean-ness coming naturally.

I figure I drank about 5 beers plus one shot. I had a good time!;) Now, however, I am paying for it. I quit drinking ahead of time because, again unfortunately, I had to drive home, so by the time I was coming home I was already developing the hangover headache. x( I came home and drank a bottle of water with some ibuprofen but it was too late. ACK! I've taken MORE ibuprofen this morning and I am chugging coffee waiting to feel better...

Today's work out plan is the tri and bi weight work from the new series along with a short run. This is all dependant, ofcourse, upon this hangover going away. I'd love to do the weight work before DS gets up but that is not likely. I will probably head to the gym first at some point this morning and then do the weight work at nap time.

Off to get more java...BBL!:)
 
Hi ladies,

I did GS legs this morning and really enjoyed it. I haven't done it in awhile. I have so many w/o's to choose from and more on the way...YAY. By the way, my throat and ears started hurting yesterday and is even worse today. I will definitely be purchasing cold medicine tonight.

Cathy-Actually, we have flex hours and can pretty much work whenever we want within reason. The core hours you are expected to be here are 9-3. Some work 7-4, 8-5 etc. I normally work 9-6, but since I don't get a lunch hour any more 10-6 is still 8 hours. I'll mention my name suggestions to my son and he and Amanda can talk about it.

Wendy-So what was the occasion last night? Sounds like maybe you had a little too much fun..just kidding. Hope feel up to snuff soon.

Okay, I think I'm recouped enough to finally work out. The plan is Bi's and Tri's and LIS from the new series. I'll report back with a review and will do personals then as well.

I ended up doing the LIS warm up, heavy shoulders, boot camp cardio and the abs from kickbox. Don't even ask why I totally changed it up from my plan! LOL :p

Can I just tell you what a kick-@ss work out that was!?!? Cathe has outdone herself! This series may be shorter time-wise but it's DEFINATELY not easier! I LOVE IT! I am extremely frustrated with the step routines but even if I NEVER do them, the rest of the stuff I've done so far is worth the money I paid for this series!

Wendy :: sounds like you had fun rockin’ out last night! Good for you. And you still brought it to your w/outs!! Amazing!! Thanks for your reviews on the w/outs. Love reading about it. And I’m so, so happy that it is a time-efficient series. I really appreciate that about CTX.

Di :: sorry about your throat and ears hurting…that is usually how it starts for me…I hope you can ward it off…Now, I have to apologize for my comments about the babies’ names…I re-read it and thought I may have come off as rude. I did *NOT* mean it that way, and I’m sorry…I should keep my opinions to myself…I just want you to know I did not mean it in a hurtful way!...I think the flex hours are such a great idea.

Yeah, we had fun. We hung out at a bar that was doing kareoke and me and my guy friend sang "man I feel like a woman" by shanai twain. What a site and sound to behold I tell ya! And the other girl that was with us caught it on tape!:eek: She had her dig. camera with her and it takes video. OY! LOL The next time I see her I am going to have to check it out even though I am going to be VERY afraid!:p
 
I just got home from grocery shopping and am rushing dinner as quick as I can-I want to go preview the new workouts!!!!!!

Wendy-See how creative you are! I'm heading down to do laundry an maybe preview the step to see if I think I could pick it up at 6am in the morning.

My DH is coming home with White Castle! I had him get me ONE cheeseburger. I just want a taste....I have to admit that I LOVE THEM! I rarely eat them but man are they good once in a blue moon!:9 Thank goodness I am not actually HUNGRY or I could very well have asked him to pick up me up atleast 4!}(
 
Diana :: I am so relieved you posted and that you were not offended. I was worried! I have started to feel so comfortable with you guys that I speak as I would to any of my friends, but I forget that you can't *hear* what I'm saying or my tone and things might not come across the way it's intended. Anyway, I'm glad it's cool. :) I thought of you this morning b/c I stumbled doing HSC and almost wiped out. How's your ankle feeling today?

It is kind of late for me to be up puttering on the computer. Often, I am already catchin' zzzz's at this hour. If by some miracle of God I can get my tuchus out of bed early enough, I would *love* to do the new BC before work. I'm so anxious to try it out!! We'll see.

I'm so glad it's Friday tomorrow.

BTW, dinner & shopping with BF went well...though she did shock me with the news that they are going to try for a baby starting this December already. Wow. I want to be happy for her, but I'm not sure why she wants to do things in this order. It's one thing when accidents happen (which was the case for my parents and quite a number of my elder relatives) but another to PLAN to have a kid out of wedlock. Somehow it doesn't seem like a wise move to me. What do you all think? Am I uptight in my thinking?

Hiya all!!

What another crazy day........but at least I was productive at work and don't have to go back in tomorrow, unless something happens.....lets just say we are having employee problems.}(

I got home around 4:30 hoping the new w/o would be staring me in the face...but no such luck. So, I went outside in hopes that the UPS man was running a little late and ......waaaalaaaaa....he drove up the driveway.:) :7 I took my package, did a little happy dance, and headed inside to change into workout clothes.

I read on the main board that the higher intensity step had some tough choreo so I thought I'd give it a shot.....without a preview no less.:p Well.....lets just say I'll need to do that one a few more times, but I know I will just love it once I get it down. Overall, I liked it but I can't wait to try something else tomorrow. I'm gonna do the LIS with legs in place of the X L&B.

Man, it's stormin like crazy around here. We never get tornadoes in this area and there have been touchdowns all around us tonight. There were definitely some mammoth clouds out there earlier today.....strange weather.

Cathy - I'm gonna give that kickbox w/o a shot on Sat in place of kenpoX. I'm so glad to finally have something new to do.;-)

Wendy - Ooooh, you DID have a good time! Hangovers suck don't they? I was able to handle them so much better when I was younger. I also found that they were not as bad after I quit smoking almost 4 years ago.....but now, they are killer again.
So, sounds like the yucks are history then? The run is a go??

I've only done karaoke once. In a group. Uhhh, some libations were flowing that night. We sang Cheap Trick "No Surrender" and Abba "Dancing Queen," I think. How cliche. *lol*

I have never had White Castle. But I'll confess...I did *not* behave at Outback tonight. We ate about half a bloomin' onion, the whole loaf of bread, half a salad, 5 oz. of filet, and a baked potato. No chance I will stay on points this week. I already blew it yesterday. I *hate* that, but I think I'm just gonna have to get over it. That's life, right?

Hey Ange :: YAY that you rec'd your workouts!! Glad you liked HIS and won't have to go back into work tomorrow...Boo on the employee problems...I did like being on a circuit rotation, but I kind of wonder is a 4-week rotation long enough to see results? I haven't taken measurements yet, but I have been losing about a lb. per week. Whether that's due to WW, the circuits, or both, I don't know. So I'm just kind of wondering if it's better to do a few rounds of a rotation for optimal results. Regardless, I *have* to use the 4DS w/outs now, of course, :) but I will definitely go back to a circuit rotation again at some point. Maybe right before the X in January.

There you are Angie..I just previewed Kickbox and Bootcamp. If I'm feeling up to working out in the morning I plan on doing Bootcamp with Bi's & Tri's. I will probably do HI/LI cardio premix this weekend some time. I can't really comment since I was laying on my floor watching Cathe. I did think the Bootcamp warmup seemed pretty intense for a warmup.

I just took some airborne and comtrex so I should get some sleep tonight. Hopefully I will be feeling much better in the morning. You should be receiving some VHS w/o's tomorrow.

Wendy-we had fish and steamed broccoli & cauliflower-it was yummy. DH said "make me a plate for lunch tomorrow-but don't add any vegetables". Do men in general just not like veggies??

I'ts 10pm-my bedtime.
