Angie: Wow, that stinks that you didn't even get to see the race. Sounds like you had a blast regardless though so that's great. I think the races are just the excuse. You and your DH just want to eat and party and use the race as a reason to do so!}( :9 :7 Hey, nothing wrong with that!;) Welcome back!:)

So I have weight work on tap for today. I have many choices so I'm not sure what I'll be doing yet. I guess I'll make up my mind when it's time to hit it.

Angie :: good to see you back! Sorry to hear about the rain delay but it sounds like you had a great time nonetheless. I hear you about the eating - this is what I do, too. I am on a very bad streak right now, I have to admit...Yes, you're right, it is good to hear it from others, and I think you're right, it's more noticeable to those you don't see every day. Although my chiro, whom I see more often than some of my friends, actually, (*lol*) commented that she thought I'd lost 5-6 lbs. this summer. I wish! But still, it's nice that it LOOKS that way to someone. :)

I will be doing DM today.

Morning ladies!

Glad to see I didn't run everyone off!! :+

The room was HOT again last night .. x( ... no kickboxing .. so I opted for a shorter fitness ball workout .. have not done that in a long while .. so it was quite refreshing .. but lots easier than my usual workout ..

No workout for me today .. have a short lunch hour .. and getting off early to go w/DH .. have major errands to run ... GEEZE I have not had a good workout in a while!! x( .. although last week's dives and swimming must have burned off a lot b/c the pants are even looser than b-4 .. but know my body tends to catch up quicker than the losses .. LOL!!

Angie .. too bad about the races .. IA w/Wendy .. hey .. any excuse to get together and have some good food and CABS .. right? LOL .. have a friend that is a HUGE Nascar fan .. she had the races on in the break room yesterday ...

Wendy ... how is the traning for the 1/2 going??? when is that coming up??

Cathe .. sounds like you have been busy .. was hoping you were soaking up some last minute summer fun!!:) .. congrats on the inch loss and compliments .. that always feels good!

Diana .. can't believe you do bootcamp outside in 99 degrees .. you are a better woman than me .. I would not make it .. LOL! I would pass right on outta here! today our high is 103 .. :eek: ... under another heat advisory ... x(

and of all things my female Toots is in MAJOR HEAT .. Buster is driving us insane .. he is a freaking maniac .. we have had no rest .. he keeps us up all night .. Toots is tired of it too .. LOL .. INSANE!! So far I have not seen any "hook up" ... not sure if it is Toots or Buster that is the problem b/c she is ready to stand .. ??? .. who knows they may be hooking up right now .. lol .. I hope he gets some releif b/c he is driving us nuts! I am worried about him being so upset in this heat .. they are inside dogs and not used to this much heat combined w/his "nervous actions" .. hope he does not overheat himself!!!

OK .. that is all from now .. will BBL to check in w/everyone .. I put a few pics up on picture trail from vacation .. but have not got the underwater pics back yet!!

Cathy: I am doing my own rotation that is loosely based on one of Jeff Galloway's half marathon training plans. So yes, I am following a rotation but a lot of the actual work outs are decided at the last minute. The only thing that is set in stone is the mileage for my weekly long runs.

Here's what I am doing:

M: circuit
T: run
W: weights
R: run
F: weights
S/S: one day is rest and one is my long run day

So did you enjoy DM? }(

Laura: Sorry about the hot room again. I know I can't work out in a hot room. I walked into the gym one day early on in summer and the a/c wasn't on cold enough. I barely ran for 30 minutes and thought I was gonna die! I don't let DH take the A/C out of my work out room at home until sometime in the fall and then will use a window fan until winter! During winter I will still open a window but will not use a fan. Can you tell I don't like to sweat!? :p :7

I still don't know what work out I'll be doing but I need to make up my mind SOON! LOL

Hi Ladies,

I just got back from middle school registration. One more thing I can check off the list. I did my new kickbox workout this morning. It's Amy Bento's Kickbox Xtreme. I liked it and will probably like it better once I get all the moves down. I did rewind a couple of times to get some of the more confusing moves down. I have to leave to go weigh in. I'm feeling really good and hope the scale agrees. I never got chest & triceps done yesterday so will try again for today.

Wendy-what weight work did you decide on?

Cathy-Drill Max is a goodie. I haven't done it as produced in a long time. I really enjoy the premixes that incorporate drill max.

Laura-It cools off in the evenings here, it's probably 80 degrees with a cool breeze by my 7pm bootcamp class. Overnights it's been getting into the mid 60's. The fitball class sounds fun.

Angie-sorry to hear you missed the races due to the rain delay. I'm sure your eating will get back on track now that your home.

Hi Girls.

Diana: Good job getting registration out of the way. I have a couple of things that have been on my "to do" list for WEEKS that I have yet to cross off! I really need to get to it!!!:eek:

So I am just about to change my clothes and FINALLY get to my work out. I am going to do the other ISculpt I haven't tried yet. Hopefully I will like it better then the last one I tried!

I should be DONE with my work out by now but ended up having an argument with a very good friend of mine. It really threw me for a loop as that rarely happens. I didn't feel much like working out at that point as I am sure you can well imagine. It seems we are OKAY now though so I am starting to feel up to a working out again.

Spur-o-the-moment change of plans for me today. After my chiro visit, I went back to school to meet with the principal about something and decided to stick around and finish my classroom. It's basically ready to go - whew! It was tough storing all my junk in a rather cramped space! So, just a few minor finishing touches remain, which can wait until our opening days. Have not worked out yet but I will...

Laura :: great pics! You all look tan and healthy and seem to be having a great time.

Wendy :: oh that's right! Duh. I forgot about the HM training plan. Glad things are smoothed over with your friend.

Diana :: I have not done DM in full in ages, either. Same reason - I gravitate toward the premixes. Glad the registration is out of the way. So is Jerod nervous about going into 6th grade?

Hello CABbers and Abbers

Boy, am I in the right forum! LOL I think my liver is finally returning to normal.x( I have decided that I am NOT a beer drinker. I'm still tired but I get to finally sleep in tomorrow and I can't wait!

After I drag my butt out of bed, I have a mountain of laundry to do and a trailer to start to gut out so that we can do it all over again next weekend. No, not races.....much tamer....DH and the boys want to spend a few days at a fair up north because they have a 3 day tractor pull. I'm not a tractor fan at all....in fact, I've never been to one of his pulls....but, I will have 3 days in the camper with a book so I'm in. It should be fun with the boys there and the fair going on. Plus, it gives me an excuse to not log my eats. *lol* I'll bring my sneakers though just in case there is a good place to run.

Yes, I said run! I didn't know what w/o to do today so I did Gin Millers Intense Moves and still felt like I wanted more. I dropped off Cody at football practice and went for a run on a newly topped nature trail on the way home. It was great! I ran for 24 minutes and then my toes felt like they might be getting blisters so I thought I'd better hang it up. I was surprised that my endurance was good. I'll bet my hip flexors will be sore tomorrow.

OK - how do you girls change the font and color?? Geez - I'm such a computer idiot! :7

Wendy - Doesn't it just stink when you have arguements with friends? The only good thing about it is that it will make you better friends down the road. You know a relationship is strong when you can openly discuss your differences and then patch things up. Just like family.... :D
Hope your isculpt w/o was challenging for you.

Cathy - The eats are my demons}( When I can do well there, things go much better. I do try to keep portions to a dull roar, but when CABs are in the mix......well, you know.

Diana - Hope weigh in had treated you well. So another new w/o? You must have found another good deal? Have you tried the slim and lean w/o yet.......I think that was the one you were going to try.
