Hi Ladies.

Well, I didn't get my arse out of bed anywhere close to early enough to push out another morning work out. Oh well. *shrugs*

That being said, I really have no idea what I'm in the mood for today. I actually don't feel like going to the gym for a run believe it or not. I guess I should probably do a weight work out then. I'll pick another SS for today I suppose and I can go for a short run tomorrow if I want. With the race on Sunday I don't want to do a long or super strenuous run right now and if I don't get a run in at all beforehand that's okay too.

Laura: The PPY I did y'day was slow moving for the most part, just so you know. I'm not sure what kind of power yoga you are into. I still have the other 2 volumes to try out. I'll let you know what I think. They are all supposed to be very different.:)

Diana: YAY for your run! So what if you had to walk. If I took a long break from running I wouldn't even make it to 4 miles!!!!

Angie: I remember the first part of my HM last year. I was doing a run/walk pattern and it was not only hard to stop to walk but also to keep my pace moderate when I ran. I actually gave up and just went for it. I averaged a 10 to 10:30 pace for quite some time. I didn't really start to slow down until mile 10 since I had those walking breaks every 5-6 minutes. Then ofcourse the nasty leg cramps set in and all of the sudden my pace PLUMMETTED to 12 min miles! If that hadn't happened I would've probably finished a good 5+ minutes faster! GRRRR! x( That was very nice of your mom and dad to look for a Wii for you! I hope the search ends soon! :)Yum...salmon! I'm gonna have to buy some the next time I get to Costco!!! :9

Cathy: I'm sending you good vibes today to get through all of that paper shuffling! I swear, organizing forms is the worst! I can't even handle putting tax forms together properly! I was so happy when we started going to get them done so I didn't have to worry about that anymore!:7 I got your PM and I SWEAR I am going to write your addy in my address book this time!:7 I hope you can get in for that massage today!

Hola, chiquititas! How are we this Thursday morning? (Thursday?? How can it be Thursday already? ACK!)

This morning I did the new Kettlebell Goddess workout. There are 6 workouts on it, and I did the one for FB Strength (35 min.) There's no music and the instructor has about as much personality as the wallpaper, but it's still a decent workout. If I had more time, I would pair this with cardio or another workout on the DVD. Anyway, it has lots of mix & match options, so I'll give it an overall thumbs up.

Wendy :: yeah, paperwork BITES, doesn't it? Organization is a weakness for me. I have things spread out on the kitchen table in piles. Enjoy whatever workout you choose.

Good Morning Ladies,

I should be downstairs working out, but my body hurts. I know, excuses..excuses. I did hit the meltdown class last night since my instructor isn't going to be there tonight. We did a timed mile, max pushups and situps for one minute. Then we moved on to plyo jumps on the bosu and high step, mixed in with some upper body weight training, weighted walking lunges and wall sits.

Wendy-You'll never hear me say-I'll just do another SS!!!! I do want to try and start running again. Amanda an I had picked a HM to run in June, but I later discovered that it's Zach's Graduation weekend and we will be having a party for him. Amanda will also be heading home for her sisters graduation. I'll be running a 10K on memorial day.

Cathy-Don't give up now, your're in the last stretch. YOU CAN DO IT!!! I don't believe for one minute that organization could be a weakness for you. I am so proud of you and excited for you to put all this work behind you and get it in the mail. What will you be doing this summer? Relaxing I hope.

Angie-Sorry to hear your parents didn't have any luck with finding a wii either. DH and I are going to Hawaii for our 20yr anniversary.

I took some ibuprofen a little bit ago and am starting to not hurt as much. I have about 30 min to w/o if I get downstairs. I need a cardio only option and am thinking of bootcamp cardio only-from the BC/ME dvd.

Morning girls

I decided to sleep in this morning. I didn't get up until 10.:eek: Ahhhh it felt good but now I'm feeling a bit guilty. I have laundry in and after this post I need to do cleanmax before lunch so I don't have the guilties all day.
My back and chest are still fried from my S&H a couple of days ago. My legs are feeling normal again, but I think I have S&H legs on tap for today so that won't last long. *lol*
Before I went to bed last night I looked out the front window and 2 racoons were eating at the bird feeder. They're so cute! But I scared them away since I didn't want my feeder to be destroyed. I guess it's time to quit feeding. It just seems weird since there is still snow on the ground. I also saw geese heading north so spring must be on it's way right??? Oh, did I mention it was snowing like crazy when I went to bed.}( Thankfully it must not have lasted long. We only got about and inch or so.

Cathy - A new puter? What a great treat for getting so close on your NB stuff. What kind did you get?
Yeah! Another SW geek.;-) Go and see the new ones....IMO they're not quite as good b/c I don't think it's possible to beat the characters of the originals, but it's definitely a good ride. I'm such a sci fi nut. BF told me yesterday that she has I am Legend. That one looks a bit spooky and gloomy but I can't wait to see it. I don't think it has a very happy ending.
Isn't time just flying by? I'll bet more so for you since you have your nose stuck in the books. But relief is soon on it's way!
I used those accordian files to help keep me on track when I was in school. They're cheap and did the trick for me. Can't wait to hear how it went with the mentors today.

Wendy - I thought it might be tough to pace at the beginning of a race, especially with all the excitement. So, are you planning a different strategy for this race? I would put $$ down that you'll break your personal best time. Just out of curiosity, what do you eat for dinner the night before and breakfast the day of the big race? What time does it start?

Diana - Plyo jumps on the bosu? :eek: That sounds hard!! NOt that the rest of the workout doesn't...no wonder you're sore!
I was wondering when you were going to Hawaii. This fall?

Morning Ladies ..

Thanks for the Facebook invites .. a lot to look at .. and figure out .. I searched for a picture of me alone .. I don't have one .. I tend to hide from the camera!! Somehow I always think my face looks like an alien or something .. yuck!! Maybe I will get a snapshot of myself this weekend by the pool ??

I am going to purchase some duct tape to keep at my desk .. in fear of shooting the mouth off .. PIA is once again missing in action .. I swear .. I think the girl MAY have worked 4 hours this entire week!!! x(

Wendy .. let me know on the PPY .. I like Power Yoga only .. I do lean toward the ones that move pretty fast .. my favs are p90X and Byron Baptiste, Yoga Zone, and I have one old Cruch Yoga that I like ... so that being said is it kinda sorta like those??? I have Cathe's, and Kathy Smiths, and Karen Voights but I can NOT STAND them .. they are way too slow .. and way to boring!

Cathy .. so you have the rough draft ready and now it is on to editing and sorting and "tweaking" ... IA w/Di .. I have a feeling those things are things you excell at!! NO worries! WOO HOO .. 31st is soon approaching!

Di .. my goodness those meltdown classes look hard!! YOWZA!!! My legs would be fried!!!

Angie ... still can't wrap my mind around your snow!! Seems so odd .. but yeah .. you will be rubbing it in when I start complaining about the heat and humidity .. and how I am melting down here .. summers here are brutal!! Last year the temps were so bad people's car windows were blowing out from the heat!!! And sleeping in till 10;00 .. I am jealous!!

My doggies are still driving me crazy .. think the female is coming out of her heat .. she is pissed and not happy about anything .. and the male is humping any and everything not tied down .. GEEZE!!! Crazy dogs .. they got bathed though .. at least they are clean crazy horny dogs . .. LOL!

not sure what I am going to do todya WO wise .. my back is killing me today .. in fact I may cancel class ... my DH has come up w/a new nickname for me .. instead of Pooch .. he is calling me Stoney! LOL (some people might take that the wrong way huh??)

I ended up going to the gym at the last minute and doing ITread 1/20 min. I am still going to do a Slim Series work out as well as abs at nap time.

Time to get showered...Heading to mom's tonight for a visit. I'm not training this week so I'll actually be visiting with DS this time instead of just dropping him and running. *LOL*

Had my massage…heavenly! Now I’m killing a little time before I call another mentor for feedback on a different portfolio entry. Then I go back to revising. Fun times!

Di :: believe it! Organization is not my strong suit at all. I’ve gotten better since I’ve become a teacher, but I absolutely have to fight The Piles. I’m not sure of my work plans for the summer. I know I will be doing committee work for part of the time. Hope you’re feeling less achy. Perhaps a rest day is a good idea.

Ange :: good for you bankin’ some zzz’s!…I bought another Toshiba. Considering it more a necessity than a treat. :) See how I get myself into all kinds of trouble? *lol* I wouldn’t really say I’m a SW geek…although I *do* still have BK or McDonald’s glasses from way back when. :7 Strangely, I don’t have much interest in the prequels. I’ve seen some good flicks lately: Disturbia, The Good German, and Babel. I have to call my one mentor in about 10 minutes. The others I’m waiting to hear via email. So…can we get YOU to join Facebook now? I checked for a Wii for you today at my "spot." :7 No dice.

Hi cabbers

S&H L&S along with Ab-ripper 200 is done. I don't know why, but those squats with the barbell are hard on my knees. My right knee feels weird....like it needs to be cracked or something. I've never had a knee injury or anything so I hope it was just the heavy weight putting a bit more stress on the knee than it's used to. Tomorrow is Gin Miller's Intense Moves. It's a short 48 minute interval workout that I like to do every now and then.

Wendy - Have a nice visit with you mom. Congrats on that Wii!;-)

Stoney - *lol* sorry, couldn't help myself. I'd be happy to send some snow your way. I would absolutely hate the heat and humidity all summer long. Michigan gets it's bouts of the hot and humid weather, but it's usually short lived and typically produces some good storms, which I LOVE. Of coarse, it's rare that we ever get tornado weather. Usually it's just T-storms. I could just stare at the sky all day long when storms come rolling thru. I'm one of those freaks that would love to go on a storm chasing vacation in the plains.
So, no stone yet eh?

Cathy - A massage sounds so wonderful! Do you feel sleepy or invigorated afterwards?
Those flicks you've seen don't sound much like sci-fi to me. *lol* I'm not much of a movie watcher but every now and then it's nice to just sit down and not think about anything and just watch a good flick.
Thanks for checking on the Wii. As soon as I get one, I'm sure they'll be a dime a dozen.
To be honest, I'm reluctant about facebook. I burn up too much time on the puter as it is so I'll probably pass on it for now. I really do appreciate the invitations though. I'm really not trying to be anti-social, it's just a time issue with me.

I suppose I'd better go and clean out the frig. MIL just stopped by and dropped off some homemade chicken soup.:9 The kids are counting the hours until their spring break starts......just one more day. OMG, they're going to drive me nuts!:p :7 Later gators.
