Good morning, girls!
A quick post here. I managed to get my butt out of bed and workout before work!! Yippee!! I did LIC u/b circuit premix minus the last step combo. The catalog listed it as a 55 minute premix but on the DVD itself, there was an extra segment which I've never even previewed before. It was a bit too much cardio for me (choreo-wise), so I left it at that and will learn that combo another time.
Angie :: we've been friends for about 5 years. We exchanged a couple of quick emails at work yesterday. That's the extent of our friendship anymore: email and an occasional text. Anyway, I reached out after not having heard from her for about two weeks. We haven't gotten together since about mid-August when, oddly enough, for about a one-week period, it was like old times again and then she disappeared again...She admitted around that time that she's had her head up her you-know-what these last few months...And it's true...she's absorbed with him and her own little world and really has no idea what's going on with me and no real interest to find out, either...Like I said, for a while, it seemed like I would hear from her when she needed to vent...By the end of the summer, I realized it's not about being too busy during the school year, which was her excuse before...It's mostly about this guy wanting to monopolize her every second, and she's just so crazy for him, I think she'll sacrifice anything...I should add that they weren't having an affair. It might have sounded like that yesterday. His marriage was already on the skids for some time when we all became friends, and as far as I know, nothing happened between them until he and his wife had been separated for a long time, and she (the ex) had moved on and found a boyfriend. Anyway, I just accept that it's different now, she's more or less "checked out," and it will probably never be the same. And the end lesson for me is that I know I need to rely less on other people.
OK, I need to get ready! ACK! It's after 6. I can tell it's gonna be a wet ponytail day.
Have a great one, chickies! BBL!
