Good Morning Girls!

So how many of you have ab work on tap for today? I took care of that y'day so I don't have to worry about it.:p

The party was fun last night. I had a few drinks and lots of bad food!}( No hangover. Just tired. Went to bed too late. UGH.

Not sure what's on tap for today. Probably a run. I've completed my first week of the new work outs. I think next week I will play with the premixes a bit. }( Now that I can do LIS a bit better I'd like to see if there is a circuit premix of that one. I know HIS has it and I wanted to do it the other day but HIS is still too difficult for me. I need to stay in "learning mode" for that one a bit longer. :p

Angie: OMG, when I go out and leave DH and DS home alone and I leave a CLEAN house behind and come home to a mess it drives me NUTS! I want to scold DH but I hate to "nag" so usually don't say much. If he catches me on a bad day though I will b*tch at him while cleaning up the mess! LOL I know he doesn't do it on purpose. It's just a "man thing" but OMG it's soooo frustrating!x(

I'm still full of the yucks, but I feel fine. Today is rest day so maybe I'll be able to pull out BFFM and start reading thru some of that. I've been looking forward to flipping thru that.

Wendy - Your party sounds fun. So, do you have pics to post?? I'm sure Joey was cute as a button.
I might have to go down and play the premixes for the cardios on the LIS & HIS and see if I can get the footwork. That sounds like a pretty good plan for a rest day. Then again, I may just do nothing.
About the rats ruining the "clean" when you're gone......yea....very annoying when you bust your butt to get things just right and then come home and all is lost. I swear, they don't even SEE it. Makes me wonder why I bother sometimes. I also wonder when the boys get older what the heck their houses are going to look like.....I'm afraid I may not be visiting much. They'll probably be OK with that. Cameron told me once that he wants to buy the house next door so that he can come over for lunch and dinner.http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/lol-031.gif

Hi Ladies,

DH and I were out running errands yesterday. I didn't w/o yesterday and need to break this bad habit quickly. I use to love doing long workouts on the weekends since I had more time. Looking back at my w/o log, I'm only getting in about 4-5 w/o's per week which is not enough for me to lose weight. I also have plans the next 3 weeekends. Jerod will be playing football on Sat. and Sun. and I also have Cody & Amanda's babyshower coming up.

I do plan on doing at least leg wts, maybe total body weights and a cardio. I'm leaning towards kickboxing since I haven't done that in a couple weeks-except for the 4ds kickbox.

Angie-Cardio Kicks is an hour long kickbox inspired cardio w/o. Glad you like the CTX kickbox w/o. I personally really like leaner legs, although I've seen it referred to as "meaner legs" on this forum. It's total leg endurance w/o and I hope you love it, it also has a short ab section too. What are the boys going to be for Halloween? BTW-love the laundry smilie-now if it actually did the laundry that would be awesome.

Wendy-I'm not at all in to Halloween. Thankfully-DH has always made the boys' costumes. One year Cody went as the tin man and won a costume contest. Zach has been a pirate and dracula and looked so awesome. DH paints their little faces, he's even sewn costumes together for the kids. I like to hand out the candy. Jerod is going as Neo from the Matrix. I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time he's been Neo, I don't see the fascination myself.

Cathy-Glad to hear you are enjoying running. Personally, my goal is usually to run the whole way-I don't care how long it takes. But I've never been one for timed runs anyway. I'm more of a slow and steady runner and don't care about the time. Although I was a little disappointed with my time last year. That was the first year I actually trained with a running club and my HM time was the slowest of the 4 times I ran it. In hindsight, I think it was due to the extra weight I carry and not the training itself. I finished and that's what was important.

Laura-What are you up to this weekend? Great job on the fundraiser!!

Nancy-Hi Nancy, are the kids at school getting excited for Halloween? Do you dress up as well?

Hi Diana - I still don't know for sure what Cody wants to be....he had a bloody mask last year with a black cape. Personally, I'm not a fan of it but he's 13 already and it was time for him to make his own choices. I'm sure he's probably going to repeat if he wants to go b/c it's kinda late now to come up with something else. Cam is going as Jeff Gordon again.x( Now that's scary!!
Your DH sews??? How cool! My DH can't even figure out the washing machine (ahem...not that he WANTS to or anything), let alone do anything else domestic.
Doncha just hate having busy weekends?? Mine are now over....thank goodness. I love having the whole weekend to just chill. It's a beautiful thing.
Let us know what you decide on for a workout.

hi ladies,
i am actually logged in from my phone. no DSL right now. boooo! it went down when i posted yesterday afternoon, was up briefly this morning, but then wonked out when i tried to post to the Cabs thread. i am told i will hear back from tech support in 24-48 hrs. just wanted to let you know what happened to me. i read the posts but will wait to do personals when im up and running again. at least i can live vicariously thru angie to get a smiley fix. *lol*. will do 4ds legs n core, a run, and maybe some squeeze u/b shortly. enjoy your sunday! hope 2 be back soon!!
 
Hey Girls.

Sorry about the internet troubles, Cathy. That would drive me INSANE!}(

I ended up going for a 3 mile hilly trail run in the park today. It was supposed to be the 5k course I raced back in September but I took a wrong turn at about mile 2 so I had to make it up as I went along after that!:p I ran it in 31:33 which isn't bad for a hilly course in a non-racing situation. I was wearing my garmin and my 2nd mile split was something like 9:55! That mile included a HUGE hill that I walked up but then I took off (got a good start on a downhill!) and ended up running something like a 7 min mile at one point so I was able to make up the time and then some!:D

Now it's time for a shower.

I'm baaaaackkkkk

I got bored sittin here watching the race. Let's just say my guy was not in the front of the pack. So, I decided to go downstairs and figure out that darned footwork on HIS. It was supposed to be my rest day, but Codys got games on Tues and Thurs and then there is halloween on Weds, so I'll take one of those days as a rest day. I did the cardio portion of HIS and then repeated the chapter on the 3rd step portion at least twice more. I finally GOT it! It turned out to be almost an hour workout and just shy of a 500 calorie burn. Not bad for a rest day huh? lol

Wendy - You sure do get some solid and interesting workouts in there. So are you going to do the cross country run or are you still trying to decide?

I have actually been a little bored these last couple of days so I went on a smilie hunt and added some to my favorites.:) It is addicting.

Evening Cabbers!:)

DH, DS and myself went out to Outback for dinner tonight. Good food but bad for the waistline!}( :9 }( When we got home DH and DS watched a movie and I cleaned. I felt less guilty about my belly filled with "nasty" food when I was up and about being constructive as opposed to sitting my butt in front of the tv or pc. :p

Diana: I am not into Halloween either. I only dress up DS right now if we are going to see relatives who will expect it. Otherwise he is too little to know the difference and I don't really care about the holiday. I mean, I took the opportunity to go to that party regardless but it could have been ANY kind of party and I would have wanted to go!}(

Angie: I haven't downloaded the Elmo pic yet but when I do I will post it here for you to see. Congrats on getting HIS down! I am still not totally comfortable with LIS yet so I think I will not do HIS until LIS is embedded in my brain. I am polish and too much info all at once will confuse me!:p

Cathy: Missed you today! Hope your internet issues get cleared up PRONTO!

I've figured out a tentative plan for next week's work outs. I still have yoga tmrw and my rest day on tuesday but then this is what I am thinking of doing:

W: 4DS Chest Shoulders and Triceps premix + LIS cardio
R: 4DS BC Cardio Only
F: 4DS Back and Bi's Premix + KB Cardio
S: 4DS Legs and Calves + Run

If core is not included in the premixes I do then I will add it in where I see fit. This is the plan. Let's see if I stick to it now!:p

GTG...time to put the munchkin to bed!:+

Hi Ladies,

I finally got my workout in today...I did GS Legs and Absolute kickbox. It felt to finally workout. I've really been slacking way too much lately. The more I workout the more motivated I stay. Tomorrow night is the first Holiday Meltdown class so I'll see what that's all about. I am doing either Step Blast or BM2 tomorrow morning to kickstart my week with cardio.

I need to clean up the kitchen and finish up laundry.
