That's hilarious Dallas, I think of this everytime I do this work out too. Hop on Pop was one of the books from my childhood and I read it to my 3 kids about a bizillion times

Ok, so I'm not the only weirdo! LOL! :7 Isn't it funny how they get stuck on the same book for days on end. If you forget a word or two they are all over you! At least I know that they are listening! Before the Hop on Pop book we were reading Good Night Moon. Could recite that one to you! My DS was so cute. He was focusing on the mommy. He would say, "Where's the mommy?" when she wasn't on the page. Maybe that's because I'm trying to get him to sleep in his bed all night?! Not going so good, but that's a different subject!

Dallas...you're just too cute!! Good luck with the sleep situation. I'm not a Mom, but an Aunt many times over an I know it can be tricky sometimes. Sending good vibes to ya!! Now I'll be thinking of that when I do C&W..haha

Dallas, this brings back memories for sure! My oldest son is 18 (freshman in college) and when he was a little guy, Goodnight Moon plus (of all things) The Night Before Christmas were the two books we had to read 365 days a year. Then we'd choose one new one each night. Not only could I recite both, but we have him on videotape at about age 2 1/2 reciting most of The Night Before Christmas with lots of drama in his voice!
Hop on Pop and all the Seusses were BIG books around our house, too!

Kathy ~ How cute! That videotape would just make me cry. We watch videos when our kids were younger and my DD always say, "Are you crying mom?". Reciting The Night Before Christmas at 2 1/2 is pretty darn good!

I'm not so familiar with Hop on Pop, but I LOVE Green Eggs and Ham.
I do not like green eggs and ham
I do not like them, Sam-I-am
Do not like them here or there
I do not like them anywhere.
I also LOVE Goodnight Moon, The Night Before Christmas and I Love You Forever. Those Dick and Jane books also bring back lots of good memories.
