Kate, could you suggest a weekly "family night" or something? Everyone could curl up and watch a movie together or play games or something.

I am feeling better this morning, thanks for the sympathy yesterday. I guess HiiT just totally kicked my ass (I am ashamed to say). What on earth would have made my BACK hurt?? I am afraid to do it again but I know I have to eventually.

Today would normally be my rest day, but since I didn't do much yesterday I will workout. Need to do shoulders and back, abs, and some cardio - I might try Step Moves before church!

Church and lots of house cleaning today. My house looks so blah right now - fall decorations, then Christmas, now.... nothing. What can I do to make my house look alive?
 
how about some new plants, katie? i will not get any as i hate having one more thing to care for, but it is an idea. enjoy your day.

tried to run this am and calf did not like it:mad: could not even run more than 4-5 steps. back in the pool or something this afternoon. and i may do some squeeze or pub. errands today and staying warm. bbl

Rest day today and I'm going to try to do some stretching/ yoga .
I'm loving the STS rotation but this first week sure has given me DOMS!!!!!

so, apparenty 5:15am is now wakeup time =(

no gym on sundays as there is no babysitting. and i am SO SORE! yippee! too bad they dont have power then KB onthe schedule other days since this is apparently a great combo for me =) i also upped myweight forpoweryesterday so that helps. my buns in particular are killing from the added wt for deadlifts.

boiled egg so far this am. i have not been super hungry in the mornings lately but then i feel famished after the gym.

katie, i canteven *imagine* what hiit would do to me!!

kate, wake that man up! maybe some quality "in bed not sleeping" will help =)

Katie, I understand about hiit – 40/20 was so hard! I am feeling stiff today from sts legs disc 3 :confused: Saw your post on fb-it seems the only time I don’t spend too much is if I just don’t go, but then I have online shopping :eek:

Kate, I guess this is a really busy time for Mike with the cold temps :(

Wendy, I guess you have a new sched to get used to ;)

Becky, I am really feeling it to – I can’t wait for a rest day. Because of my sched this week I am going to need to wait to take my rest day until Tue, so I have one more day to go!

Quick drive by, I'll try to do personals later.

No work out yesterday, but I got my list of errands done and picked up my house, so that was good. And I made Kate's chicken tortilla soup, which I just had for lunch, too. And I reserved some of the chicken to make this yummy pesto pasta dish I like. I'm having that tonight.

I start STS today and I'm scared. Oh, well, I'll just do what I can do and see how it goes.

Becky I love Classical Stretch TV series. I have season 6 and she works every part of my body.:) I'm trying to get my son to do something beside guitar heroes on the wii.

Anne let us know how your 1st STS went? Really meso 1 is not as hard as the others but challenging.

Kate this is a new year and I'm not going to order things on impulse...so I waited 24 hours and then I ordered it.:p

Katie I was thinking the same thing. When I took the Christmas things down, everything looks so plan. I was thinking of plants but I will have to research which ones are safe around a crazy Kittie.

I'm so proud of myself. I went food shopping and brought zero junk food. My kids thought that I was crazy.
For dinner I have small turkey wings in the crook pot, brown rice and peas.

Last night I had no popcorn! Instead I ate an apple with PB.

I did this morning MMA-Fusion and I think it was very different from the rest. My fav is MMA-kickbox which is more Amy Bento style.

BTW I rented United States of Tara and I loved this series. It's funny, interesting and sad at the same time.
 
Hi Everyone,

It has been a busy couple of days getting the bed setup and the house organized. I still have more to do but I am exhausted. I hate going to work on Monday feeling like I had no weekend, so I am going to hang out and chill the rest of the afternoon. This morning I did extended stretch which I needed and yoga abs since I did not do them yesterday.

Robin, I use can tomatoes all the time. I had heard about the microwave popcorn so I stopped microwaving and I make it on the stove.
Katie, glad you are feeling better. Maybe you slept weird and then Hiit just aggravated something.
Kate, sorry DH is so busy. I started to mandate date night for that very reason. I hope you can get some quality time today.
Wendy, yeah for DOMS! Have the teeth come through yet?
Anne, Meso 1 is easier than the others but it doesn't feel that way when you are doing all those pushups.
Clintonya, you had a busy day yesterday. Is that typical for your Saturdays?
Nina, sorry about the calf. I hope it isn't something serious.

Ooops, workout this morning was Step Moves (went ok, didn't love it the first time thru but I reserve the right to change my mind) then about 20 minutes of CCC.

Then we did church, errands, then home - I'm bored!!
 
Katie, yes, I am doing the rotation – just did step moves and about 10 min of yoga abs.

Colleen, yes lately that is how it has been – starting to run me crazy! I will need to make some changes for next year because don’t think I can keep up this pace, but I will somehow make it through until May!

Anne, you can do it – just do what you can and you will be fine :)

Okay, personals seem daunting right now, can I have a rain check until tomorrow?

I did Week 1, Disc 1. Okay, I admit it, I just watched the staggered push-ups, I didn't even do a modified version. I did *almost* all the other push-ups, though, but on my knees. Hey, it's a start, right?

The shoulder and bicep work wasn't bad, I think I got just about the right weights. Right afterward my muscles were very shaky, but I took a really hot shower and that seemed to loosen things up. I'm sure I'll be super sore, but it was more do-able than I thought it would be.

And, in the workout manager my 1RMs are higher than average for almost everything, so that made me feel good.

Laundry is in the washer and dryer and I'm about to start dinner.
