Morning!

Sorry no weekend posts. Lots of family time and trying to get ahead in school work before we go to Dublin and our friends come.

Ryan left for Belgium to work for three days. MIL is supposed to fly outtonight so I am hoping she makes the flight - it is oversold by 2. She needs to get here or we can't go to Dublin!

Eats have been blah. Why can't I just figure it out???

This morning was muscle max. Thinking of doing the ff summer rotation. I have exactly 8 weeks til our cruise.

On a bus right now for a field trip with anna's class. I'll check in with personals later.

Well I am so proud of myself - I worked out more yesterday than I have in a long time! And I am up this morning, probably just going to walk but still, I am proud of myself! AND, my eats yesterday were better than they have been since weeks 4 and 5 of pregnancy! PS I am 14 weeks now :eek: (when did that happen?) and my belly is really starting to pop!

I got all sorts of good things to eat at the grocery store yesterday - I am so excited about all the summer fruits and Kashi bars!

Angie, My eats are blah too.....not awful, not great. Not where they need to be to see results.
I hope MIL makes her flight and all your upcoming plans are as much fun as you want them to be! Your girls are so fortunate to have all of these wonderful travel experiences!

Kate, kgarten picnics and last days of school. Happy Days!! :)

Sat. we got in the hot & muggy hike & yesterday we walked 4 miles on the bike path and then in the afternoon I did 4DS upperbody, so I am caught up on the rotation. This morning is SM and abs.

My oldest daughter is starting an externship this week .....working 2 1/2 weeks in a doctors office as part of her courses . They placed her an hours drive away so it's turning into a huge hassle for her. She has to go today for an interview so I am keeping the boys. :) :)

It's going to be less humid today and sunny. I'm thinking about taking the boys to the park for a picnic .

good morning everyone! back at it today - 11 mile run, abs - will do ub and yoga later. eats will be spot on all week as i have major pms, plus stress of moving, plus renewing contact with my mom (it has been a while now).

kate, motivation coming at ya!

katie, glad for that 2nd trimester bump up - you deserve it.

angie, oh i hope you get to dublin, though south west coast is my fav area.

becky, what is uo for you this week?

aidan's 2nd bday is tomorrow, but we are having a family party tonight. dh made me promise not to throw out extra cake, but i am not sure i can do that. bbl
 
Morning!

So no workout yesterday-no time:( And I had string cheese and popcorn for dinner:( Today will be upper body and abs. My hammies are on fire from all the leg presses in ME the other day! I'm going to make an asparagus/mushroom fritatta for lunch and salsa chicken for dinner so no excuses on the eats today! School's almost done! Only 2 lunches left!

Angie, I hope your MIL can fly in. It would be such a shame to miss Dublin. I love MM! FF's rotation definitely work so I say go for it!

Katie, great job! See-that 2nd trimester energy is kicking in:) What kind of Kashi bars do you get? My girls love the cereal bars:)

Nina, nice start to your day! Extra cake doesn't do it for me-I only like it on the day of, thank goodness! Now brownies on the other hand...

Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was kind of quiet but I managed to take a short nap which caused me to sleep terrible last night. I dragged myself out of bed this morning for Max Cardio Conditioning and a 2 mile run. Now that I am sitting at my desk I am suddenly tired. Will make some green tea to give me a little boost. No big plans for today, I may sneak out a take a quick walk since the humidity finally broke.

Wendy, congrats on the weight loss.
Angie, I hope your mom can make it too. I have never been to Ireland and I am Irish.
Katie, yeah for the workouts and the belly bump.
Kate, I always struggle with evening workouts but you can do it. Have fun at the picnic today.
Becky, great job catching up on the rotation. I think a picnic sounds great!
Nina, happy early birthday to aidan. I usually get rid of temptations like extra cake by bringing it into work. Why don't you send the leftovers home with your family?
Klaudia, I usually have cereal for dinner when I don't have time to cook. Good plan to get back on track today!

blah! :( No boys today. My daughter decided to send Brayden off to preschool and put Jackson in daycare. He was all set up to start today , then Natalie got anxious and asked if he could come here instead. So I was looking forward to it, but this morning she decided it was better for her to see how he'll do and try it out on a day that won't be so long. I think she's right, but I was disappointed. :(
but.....It's a gorgeous day and I've been cleaning all morning, and just finished up my laundry, so I will cut the grass this afternoon and then just be a bum in the sun !!!!!! :) Good times ! :)

nina, what about portioning leftover cake into tiny baggies and then in the freezer? I know for me that would "ruin" it, im totally not defrosting a little sliver of cake... but it would never stop my DH or ODS =)

katie, so so glad you are feeling better!!!!

klaudia, i think we have a GREAT sense of humor, but others find me a bit out there sometimes...

last night we went to a co-worker of DHs to watch the celtics... I planned ahead and made healthy food to bring with us (broiled steak, quinoa salad and a nice green salad) and STILL i proceed to eat 2 slices of the pizza they ordered =( I will be so upset if i don't see further results this week because of that. it was good pizza but not THAT good, ya know?

ok, ive had my bfast smoothie and need to drink my coffee and get going to the gym in a bit. today is spin and then yoga.
 
We are lazy bums this morning! We've been watching Animal Planet stuff on youtube for an embarrassingly long time!:p

NIna, Give the cake leftovers away to guests. Works for me! I always give the leftover frosting to my bro & SIL. They love it!:D

Emergency trip to ortho after school. Gina's roof of her mouth is enflamed under her expander and COMING OUT between the exp & her molars. :eek::eek::eek: How gross it that?!?! Poor thing was in quite a bit of pain. Thank you, creator of Anbesol!!! She's not hrting anymore but they may have to take the exp out to see if some food or sthing got caught up there.
 
Is it really almost lunchtime where I live? How did that happen?

Did I tell you guys I was going to watch my brother play hockey last night? It was really fun; I hung out with my SIL and her daughter's boyfriend. Her daughter and my brother are on the same team. They're not that great, but everybody had fun, which is the point. I think I'm going to go every Sunday night. Sunday nights are hard for me, so that would be a nice way to combat that.

Kate, I sent you a PM about Zumba. Sorry about Gina's mouth! Poor thing.

Wendy, I think you, Klaudia and I all have the same kind of sense of humor--and you're right, it's not for everyone but I enjoy it! Don't worry about 2 pieces of pizza, you're doing great!

Becky, sorry no kiddos today, but it sounds like you have a great day on tap. It's beautiful here today, albeit a tad cool.

Wendy, do you make your grilled chicken salad or buy it somewhere? I have to figure out how to pack lunches so I can take them to a nearby park and get some outdoor time during the day.

I could tap over the summer, but it's kind of nice to take a break from it and do something outside. And one of my friends in the rowing club. Did you guys know I used to row? Anyway, I think I'm going to be able to start as soon as tomorrow. Yippee! bbiab

Busy morning. i had to drop off the kids, get to the gym, pick up sil (she left her card in a atm machine) and then go and pick up the teens because they finished their finals early. Now I'm tired.

Anne rowwing sounds like a calorie burner for sure and you'll be outside. Great idea. The last time I rowed was on a girl scout camping trip.

Gym Drama alert!!
I getting tired of one of my gym partners:mad:. She is so lazy and all she wants to do is cardio. Today she only wanted to do 15mins of cardio!!!:eek: WTH why did she come to the gym. Well I'm going to fix her wagon. I'm making a print out of a rotation and hand it to her, with a pencil. Now she can do what she wants (BS-mostly) or she can follow me. Heck I do Cathe and I'm use to increasing weight load and cardio...not decreasing.

I think she is having a problem because her weight is not coming out fast enough. Well maybe it's the 4 cans of soda she drinks everyday.

Nina, I just got done with the exact same workout! And I did the abs although my arms were shaking! I'm pmsing too and have been eating way too many carbs-hello Nacho Cheese Doritos:eek:

Anne, the girls' recital is midweek-the last two days of June. We (the girls) are heading for the hills on Thursday morning! I will so need a nice long break after 4 days of rehearsal and recital! I think rowing in the summer is a great idea-hello shoulders and back!:)

Robin, the frittata was delish! I used whole eggs:)
