####c-t-monday####

Hey all,

Weekend was relaxing. Saturday night Ryan came down with a fever and has basically been in bed since. I'm taking vitamins like crazy to thwart off whatever it is.

Week 5 of insanity starts today - Core Cardio & Balance. Pretty good.

I'm thinking of doing FF's Jan rotation after I finish it. Thoughts?

Off to pick up girls for lunch.

BBL.

Haha, you beat me by mere seconds Angie!

Sorry I was MIA much of the weekend - just feeling kind of blah.... I ran 7.09 miles yesterday and was exhausted and starving afterwards but I always feel a huge sense of accomplishment. I logged just over 17 miles last week in training.

This morning will be some upper body lifting - I probably will stick to meso one, don't feel like 'thinking' much to figure something else out. I need to do PT exercises too.

Happy Monday to all! I'll check back in a bit.

Good Morning Girls !

I had a great weekend and hate to see it end ! Renfest Sat, Hiking, reading in the sun and mowing the lawn yesterday.
And here it is MONDAY already!!! :(

Angie, am not sure what the Jan. rotation is, but I've done quite a few of FF's rotations and loved them all !!! My bet is, it would be a good choice.

Katie, high fives to you for all that running !! Great job !

CLX for me today and I'm adding core.

Becky

It's morning already...well happy Monday Monday

i didn't get everything done over the weekend so i guess I have to do some catching up today. nothing special just laundry-max.

i need to detox. i went Mexican eating crazy this weekend...way to much salt. i had tortilla chips with cheese and salsa.

today's w/o will be sts M1 Week2 bi, shoulders and 1/2 hr of cardio...maybe kickboxing. this month i'm doing my weight w/o first and then cardio last.

did i confess that i had soda too:rolleyes:

Lifting done, will do PT tonight.

Neglected to mention earlier that my eating was HORRIFIC this weekend. But I bought a ton of good food at the store so I am going to have a squeaky week! I am taking the advice of some to up my carbs and fats a bit to aid with the running/recovery, so here is what my menu will look like all week:

B cereal, skim milk
S hard boiled egg, honeycrisp apple (on sale for $1.49/pound, YAY!)
L big salad OR slice of broccoli quiche (made with egg whites only) and small salad
S homemade trail mix with dried fruits, nuts (no salt) and a bit of dark chocolate
D one serving lean protein, one serving of a starchy veg or whole gain, one serving of a green veg

sorry

angie s0rry about dh does he have the flu? i've never done any ff rotation. in church they have hand sanitizers near the door ways...sign of the time

katie you should be very proud of the amount of miles your ran.

becky what are you up to clx

excellent i think i need to go back to writing down what i eat too

good morning - sorry i was gone all yesterday. i woke and did my 17 miles then had a cont ed meeting all day. tired last night, but it was good. also, i have 2 new contacts to work with this week! my eating was awesome y-day even with the 17miler. i have big plans for a good week.

angie, hope you stay healthy! i am doing the jan rotation and really like it (minus legs)

katie, great run y-day. are you going outside or on your tm? i imagine it is still quite hot there, so that may be sapping your energy? i find i need carbs at lunch big time after a run. have a great day!

robin, sorry for the crazy food this weekend. today is a new day.

klaudia, tell me how you calorie cycle.

well, as i said, i am motivated for a new week. my goals are not to pick fights, to stay positive about my job, to try to cut back 1 day of running, and to be mindful. and today, no processed food. i slept in and did abs this am. plan to do legs and arms later, maybe bike a little? probably not. bbiab

real quick-like....

Katie, I haven't seen honeycrisps here yet - lucky girl! YOU KNOW THEY ARE MY FAVE!!
WTG w/ the mileage!

Angie, No sickness vibes for you! Your insanity sounds wonderful!

Robin, Back on the wagon, Girl! :D

Nina, I need to set some goals - yours are great!

off to be w/ my girls! bbl...

Morning!

No workout yesterday and no real dinner-chips and leftover dip and a piece of my mom's lemon poppyseed cake:eek: Gotta get things back on track today-either legs and cardio OR Plyo Legs. I'll do another leg workout at the end of the week to make up for missing yesterday too. Busy evening with 3 dance classes tonight-not sure how dinner's going to work. I want ot start writing down all my meals again too-thanks Katie!

Angie, hope you stay fever free! Any of FF's rotations are good and will give you results.

Katie, your menu for the week looks great! I need to reign in my carb snacking-way too many pretzels and such. I need to go get me some honeycrisps! Awesome mileage!

Becky, the weekends are way too short-especially when the weather's so nice! Have a great workout!

Robin, I need a detox too! Let's keep each other more accountable. I prefer doing weights first.

Nina, good plan. Re:the calorie cycyling, I found a website that lets you plug in your info(height, weight, age, exercise amount) and then calculates the amount of calories you should be eating for weight loss, extreme weight loss, and maintenace. The calories are the same for the week, they just vary day to day to "trick" your body and helps prvent or break plateaus. The website is www.freedieting.com. My low day is 1238 and my high day is 1857. We'll see how it goes!

Hey girls,

Day has been quiet. I had French lessons this morning (going well... somebody asked recently) and then after I had the girls home for lunch, I crashed. Annabel woke up at 4:30 this morning saying Ellie was snoring and I just never got back to sleep. Nina, I don't know how you do it everyday. My head was just fuzzy and I needed about 30 minutes to rejuvenate.

Katie, WTG on all your miles!!! You are doing so awesome! How I wish I could be there at the end of your 1/2 to support you and give you a huge hug! You will totally deserve it!

Becky, why does it always seem that Mondays come so quickly? Thanks for the info re: CLX. I think I will put it on my christmas list. I feel motivated now that I've gotten through the first month of insanity b/c I have never stuck with a rotation this long.

Robin, what are you up to today? How was your weekend? I think Ryan has some kind of flu but he's keeping food down so it's weird.

Nina, your goals sound great! I am even more convinced to do FF's rotation if you like it... you are my role model for sure! :)

Kate, hope the girls have a good day at school today. What's on tap for your 1 p.m. wo? Is it getting close to J's bday? Oct? Holy smokes!!!

Klaudia, I can't believe how busy dance makes your family! Hope it's fun for you all - would love to see pics of your girls too!

Hi to Lisa, Steph, Anne, Patti... have we permanently lost some of you???? :(:(:(:(

Gotta run to the store... BBL!

Good Morning Everyone!

Well this weekend really wore me out and I slept in this morning so I have to do my workout tonight. I have a 15 min - 20 min run and Max Cardio Conditioning on tap. Chris said he might be late so hopefully that will give me my workout time.

Katie, how's your hip with all this running? Is it doing okay? Good idea to increase the calories.
Becky, glad you had a nice weekend. I really wish the weekends were longer.
Robin, I love tortilla chips but the salt always gets me. Drink lots of water today.
Nina, great job setting goals for the week. I really need to do that too.
Klaudia, how are you going to watch football on Saturdays if you have to take the girls to dance? Hopefully, it is in the AM so you can watch your team. Sorry about the loss Saturday but that is good news for my team.
Angie, Congrats on completing Month 1. I liked the recovery week but was really ready to rev up when Month 2 came along.

Technically, it's still morning here, so I'll say it--good morning, everyone!

Colleen, who is your team that it's good news the Spartans lost? I'm a Spartan, too, so Klaudia and I can comiserate together.

Angie, aren't naps the best? I just love them, but only take them on Saturdays, if then. I don't know how Nina does it, either.

Klaudia, was that leftover buffalo dip? Did you post that recipe recently? It sounds heavenly and right up my alley.

Kate, how's the second week of school?

Nina, I love it when you say you "slept in." What time did you get up? 5?

Robin, you know me, I got Mexican eating crazy just about every week. I'll get my eating under control after I move.

Katie, great job on your miles! I need to start running again, too.

Becky, it sounds like you had a nice weekend, I'm glad to hear it.

Today is bittersweet for me--I get possession of the condo, but tap starts. I'm hopeful tap will help me bring some joy back into my life. I could use it! Have a good day, everyone!

anne

sorry 4 the typos!

((((steph)))
lisa~ how are the kids?
patti, we miss u 2!

Having lunch:ham and cheese on a ww tortilla and some cantaloupe:) Breakfast was oatmeal w/a drizzle of maple syrup and cinnamon, a glass of skim milk and a banana. Dinner will be a McD's chicken salad.

Angie, it's crazy busy, but the girls love it-even Milla (most of the time!) Can't wait to see how Nevena does. I need to upload so many pics from the summer-I need Darrin to show me how cause if I wait for him, it'll be 2010 before they're up!

Colleen, most of Saturday dance is in the am and Darrin and I take turns with staying and/or dropping off and picking up:) I'm hoping for some late afternoon games too-not the noon starts. So bummed about that game-but it was their fault, right? Hope you get your workout in!

Anne, you'd love it and it's so easy: Smear a package of cream cheese on the bottom of a pie plate or 8"x8" pan, add 1 can/pouch all white meat chicken (or rotisserie), pour about 6oz. Frank's Buffalo sauce on top (more if you like it spicy!), sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheddar on top, pour ranch dressing to cover, top with more shredded cheese. Bake in a 350* oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and serve with tortilla chips. I make mine with light ingredients and it's still good! I think tap will be just what you need! Hugs to you:)

Kate, glad school's going relatively well. I'm not being strict with the calorie counting, just using the numbers as a guide. I can't be that precise-too much work. Have a great workout!

hey everyone - i am getting so much done today, and trying to stay motivated. i need to go up to base and shop in a bit and think i will ride the bike for 30min. i did my weights and abs already, eats n check.

I'm annoyed. I want to support cathe.com and purchase things directly from her. I was excited when I saw that S&H was the featured product this week b/c I've been waiting for that. So, I went to put it in my cart and was glad to only pay $34.99 over $49.99. Well, even though it qualifies for "free" shipping, it's only if you spend $99 - otherwise it's $8.50 (shipping to my mom's house, not to France). So, then I go to amazon and they have it for $41.95 with free shipping and we are subscribed to "prime" through Ryan's parents so it would come in 2 days...

So, it's cheaper and faster through amazon... why?!?!?
