Buying new clothes

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to share some of my good news with you. I have to buy all new clothes! Good news for me...not so good news for DH. :D

Some of you may know, I've been doing the Total Body Blast rotation + some of my own additions, since January or 16 weeks. Although I have been nurturing a shoulder/chest injury, I was still able to work lower body and do cardio. The past two weeks I have been adding back in, upper body.
My diet isn't very clean. I'm still need work on that. :D But I have been following basically, what I read from Cathe's Behind the scenes and what I have learned from you girls.

I noticed that the clothes I wear around the house was getting much looser. Today I wanted to dress up and put on a suit that I haven't tried on since December. The skirt wouldn't stay up without a belt and the jacket was huge with the shoulders drooping down by arm. So DH said it was time we got me some clothes that fit.
When trying on clothes at the store, I was happily shocked that I am now a size 2.
From January to now, I have gone from a size 8 dress and skirt to a 2! I could get into the size 2 pants, but DH thought that someone my age better wear the 4. LOL My shoe size even got smaller. I went from a 7 to 6 1/2

The neat thing about this is...I have muscle as well. I am so happy. I just wanted to share this with you guys because you all know how hard it is to reach goals and you appreciate the thrill one gets when they have been achieved.

I'm so deeply grateful to Cathe, her videos, her website and each and everyone one of you for all your comments on this forum.
Hugs to you all.

WOOHOO!!!! Congratulations!! That is absolutely wonderful!!! I'm so happy for you, and envious at the same time (a good envious....one to motivate me!!). That's approximately a smaller size every five weeks!! Good going, girl!!

Wow Wanda! I am so proud of you! Size 2!?! FABULOUS! It must FEEL sooooo good!

Looks like the Total Body Blast Rotation was perfect for you!

Congrats on your success! Thanks so much for the inspiration! Keep up the good work! :+ :+ :+ :+

GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!!!

Wanda, you are truly an inspiration! Put your success story on that forum woman! AND PICTURES WE NEED PICTURES!

I do hav to say size 8 to size 2? Are you tiny like Cathe? I HATE YOU!!! Ok, not really. I'm very proud of you!

Thank YOU for your encouragement. This website and you girls, is the lifeline that keeps me going. :D
I weighed 105 32 years ago when I got married. But as DH said to me, I was too skinny and sickly looking. Now, even though I'm a tad bit smaller weight wise, with the muscles, I look healthy.

A friend of mine took pictures of me about a year ago with a digital camera. She make me computer print outs on plain paper as then later, she would put them on Kodak paper, the ones I wanted to keep. I almost cried when I saw myself. I had been working out most everyday and yet the fat rolls on me was the big stand out in these pictures.
Needless to say, I didn't want to go to the expense of getting these pictures saved to glossy ones.
I still have the computer paper ones, but I would have no idea how to post them for you all could see my 'before' shots. If I knew how to do that, I would get some 'after' pictures taken this summer, as my friend with the camera won't be available until then.

This has proved to me that Proper diet and the Proper exercise for your body is important. While I was eating a low fat diet before, there was still major adjustments I needed to make. The breads, starches, sugars, were my downfall. I didn't get near enough protein before.
And while I was exercising, almost everyday, I avoided the MIC and the Imax type workouts and reached for the less challenging ones. My strength training and weight work was in a rut. I had been staying at the same weight load that I had used for years! It was as if I was exercising just for the sake of exercising..do you know what I mean?
The Intensity Series made me take notice of these things plus...reving things up with the Boot Camp type workouts. Then there is that famous Core work! So, this was just what I needed at the right time.:D:D:D

Now I wait to see what Cathe is going to come up with next!

RE: GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!!!

Hi Deborah,
I made an apppointment to get some pictures taken the last week in June. So by July I should be able to get my before and after shots put up for you to see me. :D
Yes, I'm tiny like Cathe, but thinnner. While I worked hard and heavy to have some muscles, Cathe is more muscular than me.

I'm hoping when I get my pictures posted, that you and the other girls of the educated crowd, could help me fine tune a rotation to become more defined. Genetically, I may not be able to build much more than I have already. But I definately don't need to lose any more weight.

I apprecitate your suggesstion about posting in the Success Story forum. But, I already have a sucess story there. It is about my battle with Lupus and how exercise helps me to 'live'. Losing this weight has been an added bonus to the work I would have been doing anyway. I didn't feel I deserved writing my first sucess story, as it is something I just do. I certainly don't deserve two. :D

Hugs

RE: Hi Wanda!

Hi Wanda!

We are all so proud of you! I think you have inspired me to start the Total Body Blast again. Congratulations on your success!

Wow! Way to go!

I'm jealous! I've been doing Cathe since January and have lost 20# but not 4 sizes! I'm very impressed. I'm going to find the Total Body blast rotation and see if I have the tapes.

I had been eating really clean too, but this month has gone to pot, have had some health issues that have gotten me off track, but I need to motivate to get back to my clean eating. Maybe this will help.:)

Thanks for sharing!
