Butts and Guts

Hi I just did Butts and Guts for the first time. Now I know I why it took me so long to order this one. WOW...who ever doesn't feel a thing in this one is CRAZY.

My question is I felt it more in my quad than my BUTT, is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know.

THIS is the Leg Blast Premix.

Instruction to warm up insert card
Walking lunges
Lunge/squat combo
Walking lunges
Leg presses
Forward thrusting hammer punch lunges
Leg presses
One legged squats
Side to side thrusting hammer punch lunges
One legged squats
Firewalkers
Walking lunges
Firewalkers
Walking lunges
Lunge squat combo
Low pulse lunges
Lunge squat combo
Stretch

It makes walking the next day quite challenging:p
 
Oh yeah, the leg blast premix is a killer! Its all of the hardest moves in the workout done a couple times each and very little rest. I think this workout is Cathe's hardest leg workout to date. ( Just my opinion, though.)

The good news? Its pretty short, 40 minutes I think.
The bad news? You will find yourself talking back to the TV w/ possibly some choice words. :)

PS.. Not sure if you were the original poster about feeling the workout in your legs as opposed to your glutes. While the workout does get your legs good, you might want to not lean forward so much during the moves, and keep your body more erect. That way, you kind of "sit" into the moves which will get more focus on your glutes. This is a workout that after doing a couple times, you can get your form down so that you feel it more in the glutes, less in your legs.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Leg Blast Premix...

the first time I thought I was going crazy, thinking, are you kidding me?!?! Sometimes even cursing at Cathe, sorry Cathe.

now though even though it is a killer I can't help but get excited when I do it, which is every time I do B&G. I just love knowing that when I finish I'll be drenched in sweat & have a feeling of accomplishment.

I don't know about anyone else but even though this is more toning w/o I still think the calorie burn would be pretty high... ???
 
I thought there was something wrong w/ my DVD to keep doing those darned walking lunges!!

But, the crazy thing for me is that while I always *feel* this workout, it never gives me DOMS?? But GS legs always seems to get me & I don't think I feel it as much??

I got a friend hooked on Cathe & told her to try the Leg Blast premix. She told me after she did it that she didn't know who she hated more, Cathe for creating it or me for recommending it... }(
