it is 22 here. Wow! Do you just get frostbite from walking outside when it is that cold? That is COLD! What can you do when it is that cold?

Missy

-28???? Oh my gosh - couldn't handle it! It is probably about +20 here in Dallas. We had a small ice storm last night. We all freak out here with even the slightest hint of snow or ice. Everybody runs to the store and buys all of the bread and water.

Stay warm!

Here in the west side of Michigan it was -3 when I took my son out to the bus stop this morning.

It was in the low 20's early this morning. I just watched the news and it's 17 degrees. My son is wearing mittens and a wool cap around the house.

Pinky

well i guess i should complain about 24 degrees. LOL we are suppose to get snow and frozen rain tonight YAY!!! (that's sarcasm)

Theres not much to do when its sooo cold . Thats why it messes with my workout.Everyone is home LOL ..I workout in my living room .Yep You can get frost bite real easy when its so cold.Thats partly why they cancel school ... Some kids walk over a mile to catch the bus ..Oh I live in Driggs Idaho, near Yellowstone/The Grand Tetons are my back yard !! Burrrrrrr

OOHHH! What a beautiful place to live! I'd love to have the Tetons so close. But that is COLD!!! I hope you stay warm and your pipes stay whole.

We had rain last night, so we had an nice insulating blanket and I think it only got down to 45, but it never gets that cold here anyway.

I'm not going to tell you what temperature it is around here. That would be mean.

You all are amazing.

Well, it's pretty darned cold here in NJ........I don't know what the temp is but we're supposed to have 3-6 inches of snow by tomorrow afternoon.

Don't worry--I don't think south Jersey's getting the snow, so it won't keep Cathe from rehearsing..........:)

Sorry - off the subject but..The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone are in your backyard? I will never forget my parents took my sister and I there several years in a row for vacation! We all loved it! It is so beautiful - so many great hiking areas (unlike Dallas - flat - short, ugly trees). I am planning on taking my kids in the next year or two, I know they will love it. I recently took my kids to Missouri to visit family and my 5 yr old saw the hills and said "look Mom! Mountains!". It will be a great adventure for him.

-28 is darn cold in anyone's book!!! I'm in North Dakota and we see those temps sometimes, but not yet this year thankfully. When it gets down near -40 they tell us on the news to run outside and throw a cup of hot water in the air and watch it turn to ice before it hits the ground, lol. Winter fun. It is cold here, for being so early and I'm not in the mood x(, we have single digit highs and and single digit below for lows. We had a huge ice storm about a week ago and everything is still covered in ice, all the tree branches and stuff. It's pretty but I'd rather not.

I used to live in Jackson Hole! I still have a high school friend who lives in Driggs... wonder if you know him. Chris Champlin?

Stay warm! Let me know if you know Chris.

I am with Amy....it would be to mean to tell you what temps I am "enduring" today.....but this is my first winter in sunny AZ....it is soooooo wierd putting up Xmas decorations when it feels so far from winter.

Donna

p.s. I am not missing the ice and snow at all...at least not yet!!

LOL, Pinky! Dh is walking around with a coat on. Darn 2 stories! Upstairs it's burning up but downstairs it's freezing! DH and ds prefer to be downstairs! I'm the only sane one in this house (but I knew that already!) sitting upstairs!

Anyway, it's pretty cold outside for Texas weather! Around 30-something, I think. No school or work today due to icy roads and crazy drivers!
