Burpees (squat thrusts)..anything I can do to improve these?

Cathe (or anyone who might know)..

This exercise has me totally defeated at the moment, I simply cannot do these to save my life!! I've watched how-to videos on many occasions, it's just not happening for me when it comes to these, I can kick out ok, I just can't kick back, no matter how far my jump back is.

Would using a chair be a suitable modification, is it that I'm just not used to these, I can't stand it when there's something I can't do, and I just can't do these...yet!

Try putting your hands on the step platform (play around with height to see what works best for you: anywhere from just the platform to 10").
