Thats insane-I just spend $54 on shampoo and conditioner!!! I need any recomendations for a inexpensive but good quality shampoo and conditioner for highlighted hair. Thank you!!!

I have always liked Joico or Matrix and buy from a large hair salon that sells them cheaper than other places....not as high brow as B&B but they get the job done. You might also like L'Oreal (which also owns Matrix) or Nexxus. I was happy to learn that L'Oreal no longer tests their products on animals.

I'm a hairdresser and sometimes I think the "salon" brands are over rated. Don't get me wrong I love bumble and bumble products and they do wonderful things for hair but sometimes my wallet needs a break too. A good inexpensive brand from the drugstore is Loreal for color and highlights. I also agree that matrix and joico are great products too. Another great choice is Paul Mitchell and I believe they don't test on animals as well.
Good Luck,
Kristin

I love the Loreal line of sulfate-free shampoos & conditioners. I have colored hair too and it's very coarse so these don't dry my hair out. I can actually blow it out now without having to use the straightener and it's not frizzy at all.

I LOVE Bumble & Bumble! I know it's ridiculously expensive, but I love it-the Creme de Coco shampoo & conditioner is wonderful and I really like the Thickening Spray too. About twice a year my salon offers a "buy one get 1 for 1/2 price" sale. I stock up then to save a little bit of money.

I used to use Joico, which I really like too, but switched; no reason, just switched. :)

Enjoy your B&B-it's great stuff!!
