Buff Badgers Week of May 16th

Sounds like everyone is getting some great workouts in! Today I ran about 3.5 miles...early this a.m...it was perfect!

Sue, I think after this running I´ll get my CTX out again, it´s been a long time. I think the weight sections are great and have used her UB a number of times.

Laurie, how far are you on the S90?

Susan, glad DS is feeling better. It´s amazing how many people are coming down with whatever cold bug is out there. I´ve had lots of sick students, inlaws, husbands...oh, just one of those :D

TGIF!!! STS Legs today! I am doing the bonus leg conditional drill section and I didn't do that part the first time around.

I just got CTX last August when it was on sale. I do like Leaner Legs, Kick Max and doing all Upper Body. I agree---it has great music which you all know is very important to me when I am working out. That is why I am not that fond of the Shock Cardio series----poor music---just don't motivate me when I am working out. When I mention CTX---I was commenting on someone's thought of feeling like they got to make a purchase. Sometimes you find that you make a purchase and you are not really using the workout. That is how I feel about CTX---I always wanted it-----saw it was on sale---couldn't resist----and here it is almost a year later and I rarely do it---not sure why. Maybe because I was busy focusing on other things----Slow and Heavy---Gym Styles----then High Reps came out-----then I got STS!

S90 Cardio Challenge for me.

Sam, I have to head to the grocery store tonight after work. Pray for me. :D The girls have been drinking milk likt crazy. They chow down cereal after practice, so I think that might be why I ran out. I have to limit myself on Half Price, spend way to much money there. ;) I actually love CTX, and it is one that I was thinking of using for my next rotation. I think I'm leaning toward the Pure Strength series, just because I have not done those workouts in a while. I'm going to use the Leaner (Meaner) Legs instead of PS Legs though (no floorwork;)). I'm probably going to use the cardio in CTX as added cardio. The step workouts in CTX are the best.

Sue, Dang on your DD missing out by just 2 points. I remember we could letter in band too. My oldest is done with school next week Friday, only because she is a Senior and they graduate on the 5th. I'm going crazy right now trying to figure out how I'm going to get to everything, and get everything done. I'm ready for the school year to end. ;)

Lala, So did you decide on STS Total Body? ;)

heartymax, I don't think that I have ever done the Leg Conditioning sections on the Leg workouts. I never enjoyed that section in Kickmax either. ;)

Laurie, no STS TB instead I did high reps. I REALLY like that one and although the ab part is short compared to the 20 minute ones Cathe has, it was a killer!

Sam, I am with you...sometimes I like to grocery shop just to be able to justify spending money :eek:

Heartymax, the bonus parts of the legs with STS are my favorites!

Laurie - My kids drink milk like crazy, too. I'm also thinking of doing a PS rotation after S90. Ha! Listen to me, the gal who doesn't like rotations! LOL

Lala - I didn't try any bonus leg work and now you have me curious.

Had a great workout last night. After raving about CTX yesterday, I pulled it out and did Step and Intervals cardio plus Kickbox cardio, planks and abs. Tonight STS Disc 35 Plyo Legs is on the agenda. Tomorrow is cardio and Sunday is Disc 36!

Happy Friday! I'm so excited it's the weekend. Our last day of school is June 2, wahoo! I did Low Max last night. Seriously, I don't know how I worked out before I "discovered" step. I love it, love it, love it. I was in a really foul mood, but by the time it was over, I had a big ol' smile on my face. So, if the step is good in CTX, I'm officially enabled:D Tonight I'll probably do either Muscle Max or Cardio and Weights, depends on my mood.

In other news, I FINALLY broke the weight loss plateau I've been stuck on for TWO MONTHS! I had just been telling my mom that I was feeling really frustrated, then I got on the scale and CLUNK! Four pounds down! I made more than the normal trips to the bathroom overnight, so maybe that was it? Still, I'm thinking of trying out Slim Series. I keep reading that it's people's "go to" for slimming down, and I'd really like to take off some poundage over the summer. I figure mixing it up can't hurt, anyway.

I gotta go because I spent way too much time rambling already. Everyone have a great weekend, and thanks for ensuring that I will most definitely be purchasing CTX in the not-so-distant future, although I'm a little afraid of Meaner Legs :D
 
Hello! Today is Legs/Back and Abs from P90X. Saturday is KenpoX and Sunday will be the elliptical followed by StretchX.

Sam, congrats on the 4 pounds down!:D

Sue, that was a nice mix you did last night! Have fun with your Plyo Legs!;)

Laurie, our school is done June 9th. Everyone is counting down! Tehn Summer will fly by and we'll be back at it again!
