Buff Badgers Week of August 15th

Hi! Yesterday was a run for me...can´t remember how long  I´ve been using micoach.com an app by adidas that has some training options set up. Yesterday was intervals. Day before STS high reps...felt good. susan, agree with you 100% on your comments about Hi reps!
Today I´m due for weight training but don´t know yet what I´ll do, probably UB or just mow!

Sam, what do you do at "S"??? I´ve been working on my AP class all summer and have even darkened the doors and will probably head in today for a while. Glad that Elliot is on the mend.

Susan, like everyone else, I will check out your results...sounds great. And, yes, usually the maintenance is the hardest, but in this case I think that all the effort you put into it was the hard part :) I think you´ll maintain just fine!

Karen, Good luck in the 1/2! BTW, did any of your kids run the Packers 5K. I have to say that was the most fun race ever and I plan on doing it next year, God willing!

Laurie, Happy belated birthday! and your attitude toward the oreos is just right:)

Sue, I would probably have broken down and gone for the popcorn, too! The book sounds good, I´ll see if they have it for Kindle!

Heartymax, that workout you did today looks great...you are really moving on all those pushups!

May go to the Packer game Fri night...in the meantime...Go Brewers! although my heart is still with the Indians!

Morning Ladies,

Since yesterday was so fun I decided to repeat the workouts. Ripped in 30 Week 2, and 30DS Level 1. ;)

Karen, Congrats on finishing those races, and of course the cool jersey! So did you pull out your Ripped in 30? I'm still iffy on the weight work, but dang it really sneaks up on you.

Sue, The plank jacks followed by mountain climbers, then plank jacks followed by mountain climbers for 2 min. with no rest is what makes them harder. I love S90 for giving me breaks during those exercises. :D That would be great if I could give dd a list of books that she might have time to read at college.

heartymax, WTG in making that push-up challenge what you need it to be. Yes the summer sure does go by quick. :( And to think I spend all my weekends during that time dressed up in upholstery fabric.

Susan, I love the price of her workouts also. Amazon has the lower body workout for $8.99 right now, that is a great price. Usually I just wait for Target or something like that to get it, but that price is hard to resist. There is a cookbook that I want to get also, so I'm putting in my order through Amazon.

Lala, Brewer fever is in full swing down here. My oldest is going to the game this afternoon. At least I have some skim milk with my Oreos so that has to be healther right. :D

Have a great day!

Today I did the timesaver premix from BodyMax 2.

Susan---when is your class reunion? Is it this weekend?

I hope to get to Borders this weekend and check out some of those sales. A friend has been telling me she got some good deals cookbooks and SAT books for her son, etc. I told her that with all the internet recipes websites that I don't plan to invest money in a cookbook....sorry.....I can spend that money on new Cathe workouts:D DS is preparing for grade 8 but I may see what books I can grab for him.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Morning Ladies,

I will be leaving work early today, so decided that I can get in my workout after work. So I slept in this morning. :D When I get home it will be Ripped in 30 Week 2 and 30 Day Shred Level 1.

heartymax, Hope you are able to get some good deals at Borders. We don't have a Borders around here anymore, only Barnes and Noble.

Have a great day!

Good morning! I've been really bad at checking in this week  Wednesday was registration, so I did not work out. Thursday I did Tone It Up. Not sure what I'll do yet today. I think I might be in the mood for kickboxing.

Went to the Dr. this morning to talk about my insomnia and reorder my Ambien, and also mentioned that I've been having some nagging lower back pain. He ordered some physical therapy sessions, which I'll be getting set up next week. I'm looking forward to it. My back pain isn't severe, just annoying, and I think PT should really help.

Went to Target with DS after the appt. I scored composition notebooks for my whole class! They were only 40 cents each!

Susan- Wow! You look fantastic! You must eat very clean. Enjoy showing off those muscles :D

Laurie- You're making me think I should give Jillian a second (third?) chance. Maybe today. Hmmmm... Her workouts are SO cheap, it's hard to resist. DH is doing really well with S90. He can't follow the schedule exactly, so he just does the workouts in the prescribed order and takes rest days whenever. If your DD likes books about the Holocaust, make sure she reads "The Book Thief" if she hasn't already. I've never read anything like it. It's beautifully written and extremely touching.

Heartymax- I love the discount section in bookstores! I get a lot of my cookbooks there. I wouldn't invest in them either, but I practically read them like novels. Happy shopping!

Lala- I've changed classrooms and grade level this year, so I've had more work to do than normal. My classroom hadn't been used as a regular classroom in ages, so there was some major cleaning to do. I've also been just planning, making bulletin boards, etc. I still have a lot to do

Sue- DH is doing well. He's just getting into the part where he does Cardio Challenge a LOT. His waist is looking really trim :) Can you recommend a good 'beginner' Pilates video? I used to have one, but I lent it to my mom and she never gave it back  That was years ago and I haven't done Pilates since, though I remember enjoying it.

Karen- You continue to impress me with your activity level! Good luck on Sunday.

Have a great weekend, everyone.
