Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. My DS turned 13 yesterday so it was double the excitement for the family. I did Rhythmic Step on Saturday and yesterday was a rest day. I started week 3 of Meso 3 with chest and back. I did purchase 30 lbs. dumbells over the weekend so I was able to do my chest presses with 30 lbs. I am not comfortable with chest flys as Cathe always says you have to really watch the shoulder joint on those. I am more comfortable with the head of the dumbells facing each other on chest flys but Cathe doesn't use that position in STS, but I believe that is the position in PUB. I did first two sets of the flatbench flys like cathe and then I rotated the dumbells but still that heavy weight (25lbs) just scares me. I don't want to hurt my shoulder. I didn't increase my fly weight from last week because I am not comfortable with my form. Anyway, I opted to do push ups instead of incline chest flys. I did 4 sets of 10 push ups. When hubby saw that I brought 30lbs. dumbells---he just reminded me that that weight is really heavy and I need to be careful. How sweet of him. If only he knew how strong I am.
