Buff Badgers - Week of 7/16

No workouts for me today. Spent morning cleaning and prepping for the company to come clean the carpet. What better time to clean baseboards and move light furniture and night stands and get up all junk under there I baked some homemade brownies and I know I shouldn't have done that. Irresistible treat!

I have KPC on the schedule, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get to it. If not, I'll probably do a short, easier workout. (And I'll make sure to do my planks!)

DH and I had a nice time last night. Fried oysters and jambalaya :) DH fell asleep as soon as he sat on the couch when we got home.

Brenda- Sorry, I do not have a healthy bread recipe. This is only the third time I've made it, and I read that while you're learning, you should stick to basic, white bread. I don't eat a lot of bread anyway, (no meat -- not a lot of sandwiches) so I might even stick to the white since it's SO DELICIOUS  This last batch was fantastic. I'll probably work on putting some whole wheat flour into the recipe, but I guess making 100% whole wheat bread at home is very challenging.

Heartymax- I'm making chocolate zucchini bread this weekend. I hope I can leave it alone :p

Susan- That sounds like a great mix for a rotation. Interesting to throw pilates in there. I'm curious to see what you come up with.

Hi Sue!

Have a great weekend, everyone. No big plans for me. Just the usual cleaning and organizing.

Hi all! Today was strength (chest/tri's & shoulders) I used Supreme 90 Day since I don't have STS. Tomorrow is Cross Fire :D.

This weekend our small town has its annual Summer festival. My DD went with her friend to watch her at band practice today (DD quit band this year), anyway while she was there the band director asked her to march in the band with them during the parade tomorrow and play her French Horn! She hadn't played in almost a year but she has caught on quick. There are bands to watch each night, lots of food & drink, flea market, horse rides... We'll be going tonight for a bit and tomorrow... Then Sunday I need to rest!

Brenda, yes, I think I can handle one more week....;) That's why I chose to do a rotation with more Pilates in it next time cause it really helps lengthen me out and feels so good after those higher intensity cardios. I will be doing Pilates instead of traditional strength routines.

Hearty: I made brownies a few days ago... my favorite treat!:p Saw a recipie for healthy, no bake brownies but nope, I am afraid if I am having a brownie it's going to be a "real" one!

Sam, so glad you 2 had fun last night and that is just what my DH would have done as well!:) I have had chocolate zucchini bread before and it is good!

Enjoy your weekend ladies! See you soon! Susan
