Today's workout was Meso 2 Back and Biceps followed by some one minute of planks and one minute of side planks. Well----I guess that is better than nothing.:D

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. DS14 wants some cargo pants and I had the hardest time finding a pair. We went to everystore in the mall and most didn't have any or didn't have any in his size. I decided to order a pair on line from Kohls. Hopefully they will fit. If not, I can return them to the local merchant which is the good thing.
 
Good morning!

Despite my best intentions, this weekend was workout-free. Saturday I went with my SIL to a Christmas craft fair in Elkhart Lake. Sunday I had family over for brunch after church, watched the Packer game, bought and decorated a Christmas tree, and took DS to a Living Nativity presentation. It was a wonderful, Christmas-y weekend :)

Today my mom is dropping by at 12:30 to watch DS so I can do Couch to 5K Week 3 Day 3. I might try to do some upper body weights as well, maybe PUB down.

Heartymax- I remember when cargo pants used to be everywhere, and now they're getting harder and harder to find. I hope they work out for your DS. I'd say your workout this morning is waaaay better than nothing :D

Good Morning,

Today I ran 5.5 miles on the trails with my dog. No workouts over the weekend. I have been fighting a nasty cold and cough since the day after Thanksgiving.

Heartymax, Nice you are getting in your STS workouts. I did the rotation once and loved the system, just the workouts seemed so long and so much equipment. Nice job on the planks. It seems like anything but short skirts, leggings and skinny jeans are very hard to find. Hope they workout. I think cargo pants are cute.

Sam, you sound like your weekend was great. Go Packers!! Nice your mom is coming to watch your son. Have fun on your run. Hope it is not as raining as mine was.

DD at the swim meet bettered all her times. She is even under 1 min. in her backstroke.

Today was 40 minutes on elliptical.

Karen---too many options in skinny jeans and leggings in my opinion. That stuff is not made for everyone.

Tis the busy season for me with end of year! :rolleyes: Sorry to be MIA! Did Peak Pure Strength 1 last night, and if felt great.

heartymax, My nephew loves the cargo pants, and he has to order on line all the time. ;) Of course being 6'5" doesn't help either. :D

Sam, And of course tis the busy season for the holiday celebrations too! :D We had an Advent by Candlelight at church on Sunday evening, and that was a lot of fun. But this is only the beginning.

Karen, Congrats to your dd on her swimming! I agree with you on STS and equipment. One of the reasons I tend to avoid a lot of Cathe's weight work is the constant change of equipment.

Laurie, So it sounds like you are still liking the Peak 10 workouts. Is your band getting easier to use?

Morning Ladies,

Last night was Cardio Interval Burn, and that one sure is fun. :D Burn a ton of calories with that one also.

Karen, The band is getting better, the only exercise I really have a problem with it yet is the chest flies. I still can't get my arms extended as far as all the people in the DVD. These workouts are getting better each time I do them, so I guess that means my endurance is getting better. :D

Today I did Kettlebell Way 2. Nice workout then I got called into work so that was it.

Laurie, try different positions on where you put the band, and it seems to make it easier. Just a thought. Nice job on the workoutsl.

Opening night for DD10 play the Christmas Carol. This is her first play she has a speaking part in.

Karen--good luck to DD in the play. It must be exciting for the family. It must be keeping her pretty busy also.

Laurie--- I think MIA can apply to me too. Just haven't made time to be on forums as much lately.

Yesterday was STS legs and today is 30 min on elliptical.
 
Morning Ladies,

Cardio Strength for me last night, I think this is probably the toughest workout for me. ;) Has a little bit of dread factor, but once I gets past the atomic lunges I'm ok with it. :eek:

Karen, Very exciting for your dd on her speaking part. I'm sure that she will do a great job. I noticed that Michelle uses the part of the band without the wording on it, so I will try that next time. ;)

heartymax, This is such a busy time of the year, that getting on chat forums is probably one of the last things people are thinking of. :D

Happy Friday Ladies!!! :D

I had to disconnect from the work craziness. It's been a long bad week. Thought I'd pop in real quick to say "hi" and hope everyone is doing well. I haven't worked out since last Thurs and it's making me crazy. I plan to get back into it very soon. Will either start tomorrow or Monday. The only good thing about it was it gave my body some time to recover from all the injuries. The left leg is still an issue but it has gotten better. Side is fine so I'm going to get back to the weights.
