Buff Badgers - Month of September

Today is my Friday. I'm on vacation tomorrow. Not really a vacation getting a bunch of stuff done that I won't be able to do on Saturday. My Saturday is packed.

This morning was #treadLIFT back, biceps, abs. The 10 min on the elliptical was 2 min getting into it and then it was 2 min faster, 1 min slower. I had the elliptical at level 6. In this one she doesn't have any bicep curls at all. The only workout the bi's get is from doing the rows. Instead of 4 exercises I did 5 and I include bicep curls. I did 4 rounds of 5 exercises 10 reps each. Gotter done!! :) Felt very accomplished.

Sorry to hear that things have been so crazy at work. Remember though even if you push yourself for 10 min. It's better than nothing. Just saying. ;)

Yesterday was a very tiring day at work. I had about 12 minutes to squeeze in my lunch and a student came in needing to talk so I ate lunch and talked to her before heading to a meeting. Then I had to take DS for a band uniform measurements after school followed by Open House at his school. Didn't get home til 8:30. I am taking a class this fall which starts tomorrow and it's 9:00 to 5:30 and an hour away. I am so exhausted.

Long weekend. The teacher kept us in class the entire time. Never had anyone to do that for an all day course so I along with everyone else was caught off guard. Lots of required work to so it's going to be a long month.

I stayed in bed all day Sunday because I was so tired.

Got in 30 minutes of elliptical cardio today. After the week I had a little is better than nothing.

Good Morning!

Sorry to hear things have been so hectic for you. I don't blame you for staying in bed all day Sunday. Sounds like you needed a good day of rest. I can't believe they kept you in class all day. I've never had that happen. Hang in there and do what you can for your workouts, even if it's 15 min of something is better than nothing.

Saturday I did the Walk to End Alzheimer's and that was a 2 mile walk. Sunday was my no workout day. Not going to say rest day cause I didn't get to rest until after 2 in the afternoon. Since Saturday, I had a knot in the muscle underneath my right shoulder blade and was traveling into my traps and down my right arm. I decided to get a little extra sleep instead since I had my Kickboxing class last night, which went well. Muscles were feeling better. This morning I did treadLIFT chest and triceps... DANG those weights felt heavier. I pushed through it and got it done. Still nursing some tight muscles in my upper back/shoulder area. Feels much better than yesterday though.

Hope those muscle are loosening up.

Finished AOLH. It's raining and supposed to be dreary in low 70s for the next few days.

I managed to go to grocery store after work, cook a version of the olive garden Tuscan zuppan soup and get in some homework last night. I was tired but I have to accept that every week is not like this so I need to do what I need to do.

Good Morning!

We're half way through the week. Today was legs in #treadLIFT. I bumped up the weights to 20's on the lunge, squat lunge exercise (was using 15's). On the glute raises I used a 35 over my pelvic area. The singles are so bad, it's the 10 pulses that are an attention getter. Then I went up to 35 #dbs on my stiff legged deadlift. The Bulgarian squats I stayed with holding 1-20# db for that. Those are so hard for me but I love how they really get down deep in the glute.

I officially signed up for a nutrition class with Precision Nutrition to get my level 1 certification. Got my email last night when I got home and set up my account, submitted my address so they can send me my material. Really looking forward to this. If I stay really committed I should be able to finish in 18-20 weeks. The material he's teaching us, this guys teaches at a master level at the university he teaches at. So excited about learning this and getting this certification and applying it. Before I get myself started on this, I need to finish a webinar class on glutes and low back pain.

AOLH.. haven't done that in a long time. I really miss my Cathe workouts but I'm also really liking this treadlift workout.

Today by me is rainy and a high of 60. Fall is here.

Hang in there with the craziness. :)

Good Morning!

Today was #treadlift back, biceps, and abs. Workout was real good, felt strong. Not like Tuesday.

One day closer to Friday. I liked it last week when I was off Monday, worked for 3 days and was off Friday again. Would be nice to work that all that time yet get a normal paycheck. ;)

Hope things are going well.

Happy Friday and the last day of September. Oh my!!

Today was shoulders. Did pretty good.

Ordered Strong & Sweaty yesterday. :) I always look forward to getting the new workouts.

Other than that.. not much else.

Have a wonderful weekend!
