Buff Badgers - Month of July

I'm back!!!!

Had an amazing time. The views were breath taking, beautiful, and amazing. I loved being on the ship and waking up in the morning seeing the water and the mountains off in a distance. Got to see a whale, grizzly bear, some moose, dhal sheep, caribou, and bald eagle's. I would go back to Alaska in a heartbeat. I loved it!!! I only got in one workout the entire trip. We did lots of walking when we were in port and did our excursions. The last couple of days were land and we spend a lot of time sitting on either a bus or a train. The views were awesome but all that sitting was getting to me. Sunday, our last day in Alaska was really long. We had to be out of our hotel at 12pm and our flight didn't take off until 12:30am. Thankfully the hotel hung onto our luggage until the shuttle came to pick us up at 9pm. We walked around Anchorage all day. Then finally came back to the hotel around 7:30 and sat there for 1-1/2 hrs before we had to head to the airport. At that point in time, I just wanted to be home.

I've been having lots of low back issues. Not sure what is going on. Yesterday I did Metabolic Total Body from ICE and this morning I did Rockem Sockem from ICE. It's amazing how quickly you can feel like you get out of shape. Those workouts felt hard after not working out for that many days. Time to get back into it. Once I go through all the pictures I'm going to post a few of them so you can see.

If you haven't been to Alaska, I would highly recommend it. The air is so fresh and pure along with the water. Best tasting water I've ever had.

You've had some great workouts while I was gone. Cardio Fusion.... haven't done that in super long time. I have a challenge I'm going to be starting in August. I don't know much about it yet. Once I do, I will share it with you.

Make it a Great Day!!

Good Morning!

This morning I did ICE Chiseled Upper Body and some of Icy Core 1. I'm glad I have ICE to gradually work myself back into things again.

I have my Tabata Bootcamp class on Saturday. That'll probably totally kick my butt. I am trying to put together something not as intense as I normally do since me and my class are getting back into this after a month off.

I forgot to post this morning. I did 45 minutes of elliptical cardio.

Your trip sounds amazing and peaceful. A former colleague did an Alaskan cruise a few years ago and her reaction was the same as yours---one of the best places ever.

Tomorrow is the last day of my second class and then it's packing up to get DS18 ready to head out next weekend for college.

Good Morning!

Must have been the day for the elliptical. I did 5 miles this morning.

He's heading out to college already. I suppose, we are going into August. Gosh, the summer is flying by.

Yes they move in 10 days before classes start. They have a ton of fun activities each day to help the new students make friends, learn the campus and settle in before classes start.

Just finished 45 minutes of elliptical cardio followed by upper body only of Muscle Max. Decided to double up since I didn't get in my Friday workout. I used that time to do some finish touches to a project for my class.
