BUFF BADGERS 4/2 - 4/6

Susan - Woo hoo on your elliptical! (Sorry, I'm a "whooper" - even worse than Cedie. Good thing I workout alone.) Anyway, have fun trying all your different programs. Over a million random programs?! You better get going if you want to try all of those;-)

Karen - You'll probably try the new Tracey before I do so you can let me know how you like it. Jillybean's not in that one but she said she liked it and I respect her opinion a lot.

Laurie - I still haven't tried all the TLTs! LOL And what was I doing last night? Looking at the Collage catalog and circling the ones I want to get! ha ha Glad your DD is feeling better.

Back & Biceps this morning. Tough workout. I see now why Laurie said I'd need moral support:) I still have to checkout the Xers checkin. Just not enough time in the day. . .

I'm off tomorrow and most of next week with the kids for spring break. We have lots of appointments scheduled so I don't know how much fun stuff we'll be able to do. DH has to work:-( - big project due beginning of May.

Catch you later,
Sue

4/6

Hi everyone!

Yesterday, for the first workout on the elliptical I chose "Random" and it was a lot of fun!

Today I am doing an Interval Hill routine followed by some Pilates.

I actually have a quiet weekend ahead. Easter we go to my sisiter for a brunch and in the afternoon head to the in-laws for supper.

We all have Monday off so that'll be nice!

Have a great (chilly) weekend! Susan

Morning BB's,

Today is Legs & Back, ARX, and a 3 Mile run.

Sue, Have a great time with the kids, I'm still working for part of next week. I'm thinking of taking the time off when my parents are visiting with us. They are staying at my brothers and sisters homes over the next week.

Susan, So how was the elliptical. Did you have a great time? :D My family can never understand how exercise can be fun.

Karen, I'm looking forward to doing the whole workout of Kimberly's, but I have seen some great reviews on the combat portion. I didn't have a weighted bar so I used my $25 gift card from Sports Authority to get that and some gloves for weight lifting. My olds ones where getting pretty ratty.

Besides eating all weekend, I will be doing KenpoX and hoping to get in a run and stretchX on Sunday. I'm thinking I will need the extra cardio with all the munching that I will be doing. :9

Have a wonderful Easter,

Laurie

Good Morning,

Susan, what kind of treadmill did you get again. Your workout sounds awesome.

Sue, are visiting your parents over the weekend? Enjoy your time off.

Laurie, you are really getting some good workouts in. I'm going to use my firm sculpting stick for the combat portion. Hope it works o.k. Have a nice time with your parents and children this weekend.

I'll be at my parents all weekend enjoying some good food. No workouts planned unless I can fit in something before we leave tomorrow morning.

Today I am doing Absolute Kickbox.

Have a great Easter everyone.

HI Karen! WHo instructs Absolute Kickbox? I've never heard of it.

We bought a LifeFitness X3 Elliptical Trainer. It is so smooth and quiet. We did a lot of research, asked a lot of questions and found that LifeFitness was, though the most expensive, also the best quality. We decided if we were going to get one it had to be able to withstand a lot of abuse! This is considered a commercial grade machine for home use.

Have a wonderful Easter weekend! Hope all your kids are fun!

Susan

Oh Susan, I thought it was a treadmill. How neat an elliptical. I may have to look into the kind you have. It sounds wonderful. Absolute Kickbox is one of the new CIA videos by Kimberly Spreen. It is an awesome workout. I love everything about it, even the ab section. It has a 34 min. fun kickboxing workout and then a 28 min combat intervals with a weighted bar. Abs are mostly standing with weights. Great fun.

Have a great Easter.

Hi, everyone! Just got back from seeing "Meet the Robinsons" with the kids. Cute movie. Did Yoga X this morning. Tomorrow is Legs & Back + ARX and Sunday is Kenpo X. Getting ready to brave the cold and wind for my walk - er maybe jog if it's too cold.

Karen - We're spending Easter with DH's aunt and uncle. His parents are both gone and we're very close to them. My mom will be going out for brunch with some of my brothers and sisters. I wish we could see both sides of the family but it's too hard to do in 1 day.

Susan - Have a nice weekend working out inside on your new elliptical where it's nice and WARM.

Laurie - Have fun visiting with your parents.

Happy Easter to all.

Sue
