BUFF BADGERS 2/5-2/9

Karen - Yes, I enjoyed my rest day and my shoulder is better but my hamstrings are SO sore. My ankle is funny. Most of the time it's fine but certain movements like pivoting sometimes - not all the time - hurt. Eg. in Lowmax the other day, I was fine with the pivots in the warmup but when I had to pivot during the workout it hurt so bad I couldn't do that section and skipped forward to the blast. I don't know. Maybe my body is telling me I'm getting old.

Laurie - I agree that you and your DH should go out on a date. My DH and I are thinking of that ourselves. It's been months since we've gone out alone for a nice dinner. Enjoy YogaX. I should start previewing some of my P90X dvds this weekend. Then again, I should start our taxes, too.

This morning I did the upper body segments of APX on HLX. I remember liking these exercises better on Saturday. Maybe they're better when you do them in a circuit instead of separately. I don't know. Just didn't feel very worked out this morning so added on some pushups and other stuff at the end. Don't know what's on tap for this weekend. Definitely cardio and abs - maybe lower body if my hams feel better tomorrow.

I ordered Tracey's new kickbox/hi-lo dvd from the Sweatfest series yesterday so looking forward to that. Do you guys think Cathe has anything cooking? She hasn't been around much on the forums.

Sue, I don't think the upper body is that great on Amy's. I've never felt sore from her upper body work. Now her lower is a different story. I sure hope Cathe is up to something. She is the best instructor out there. Boy, Amys hi/lo is tough. I just did the quick premix and I didn't think I was going to make it. I was a little tired from muscle endurance too. I am hoping that's really the case.

Laurie, have fun with the X. I hope you get to go out on a date with DH. Take advantage of the time you get. Does DD13 babysit a lot? Does she watch children in your neighborhood?
